why it was so important for the sith

Tanic will carry on the conversation with the librarians.
Grinning somewhat morosely, he says, "I guess you caught me out down there. I was too busy being awestruck to realise you were reciting legends," he laughs good-naturedly, "I could almost think you had some sort of diary of Siva in here - I mean surely he wrote something!"

Timing by person...well, quite obviously I'd like to time it so that Mika's not around...

"You..." Rianna hisses back. "I don't have the time or patience to deal with you trying to unnerve me. Now kindly go away because I'm feeling a need to remove your head from your shoulders."

Well now, THAT'S a good idea... you can't break into MIka's office whilst he is in it!

"Fine," says Helkin. "If you want to die, of course."

-

"Plenty," the Chief says, "but none of it very helpful."

There's no information on the tablet background here at all, from what you can tell, Takuan.

Well, I figured THAT would be a given!!!

"Do you actually have anything important to say, or are you just set on irritating me enough so that I do kill you? Because trust me, it won't take much, and I'd very much like to do so."

"What are you going to kill me with, exactly? Cut your own head off, perhaps?

"And why so touchy? Worried you can't concentrate with me around?"

"I don't need a weapon to kill someone..." Rianna mutters. "And touchy? Do you expect me to be pleased to see someone who is set on killing us? Hah! You think I'm 'touchy' now, just you wait. And for a job such as this, I'd prefer no distractions. Now. Why are you here. Explain, and do it quickly. I haven't got any time to waste."

"You can't kill me," says Helkin. He touches your chest, and the icy feel of neuro-disruption bite into your midriff. "But I can kill you. If all you lose from me is time then you have been very lucky..."

"...what the hell?" Rianna says, then sighs, getting quite frustrated. "Fine. Why are you here. And what makes you think I'm afraid?"

"It's you that thinks you are afraid, Rianna. And I am here to watch."

Gallador is stunned for a moment, for a few seconds fear seizes him, followed by fury, though he knows this is just an illusion. He always had a deep respect for his Master, he was very wise man, and showed patience to Gallador during their endless debates, unlike some other Masters, and did everything he could to stop growing darkness inside his promising apprentice. If he only wasn`t so blindly following the Code!

It was a humilitation that when Scovine traced him to crush his little Darkside Cult, Gallador felt mostly.... terrified. He knew that abandoming the limitations of Jedi would allow him to achieve his true potential, but he was only at the beginning of this dark journey, he could not match the experience of old and powerful Master. But he had a little revenge, while escaping, leaving his fanatical followers to die for him( they were all worthless scum, he didn`t even find anyone Force Sensitive), he dueled and killed Scovine`s new Padawan, young human female. He could sense old Jedi`s grief and sorrow than, even slight anger, it provided some satisfaction, though a part of him was....sad.

Gallador excused Yago, and replied to the illusion in his thoughts:

"Old fool, my father means nothing to me! I didn`t know him! You were like a father to me, but you couldn`t see past your relict Code!

You saw the corruption growing inside Republic, all this greed, chaos, petty squambling of Senators and Corporations! And the Council`s inability to act, to lead lesser beings. We were wasting our abilities, while we could rule the Galaxy with Wisdom and Insight, for the benefit of all!

This latest Padawan of yours, I don`t even know her name, she abandomed her pride at the end and begged for mercy! She really wanted to live, I killed this girl to harm you. You shouldn`t have brought her in your pursuit, she was still partly a child, much too young, too naive!"

"You murdered her as she was in the pursuit of her duty. Her death greived me greatly but she knew the risks and responsibilites of her job. I have, in fact, trained another since then- your associate Takuan duelled him once. Maybe he will kill you one day. Or maybe Takuan will. Whilst you skulk with this petty band of doomed nobodies, your attempts to show superiority come across as very hollow to me."

The same level tone as ever there was from him. You never saw him anger.

Still, he wasn't really your Master, though you maintained an informal association with him during your Jedi days.

"Nobodies?! Al least we are not afraid to act, to follow our dreams, our desires. You and your so-called "wise" Masters allowed Republic to degenerate, because of your apathy!"

Gallador is furious, he wants Scovine to get angry, to show emotions!

"Funny. I don't feel afraid. And you may watch, but stay out of my way and do not mess things up for me."

"Oh really? You cannot fool yourself, Rianna, and everyone saw how worried you were by Osokan pursuit. By me."

-

"Not even the Jedi can change human nature, Gallador. Politics is politics. But you are more foolish to think you can ever solve the problem by domination. Really, yuo are still the same clueless boy you ever were- and now you will die with these pople."

"Well, I don`t intend to die here! I will leave my comrades to perish and save myself, like I did before! I know my destiny, my fate will be greater that you can comprehend! The Sith will return, and I will be the herald of new age!"

Hmm, how many Jenna`s men are at the ship? I think about using Yago and his flunkies against them.

As before, you haven't spotted them yet so you don't know. You suspect that would only work as a 'watch whilst Yago's men get minced' distraction though.

"You can't survive alone, Gallador. Throughout the Galaxy that lesson is being learned. The Bureau delights in picking off people like yourselves one by one. Your destiny led you back to these people and Rand- but you will die as a group. And you have no time to run."

I thought Jenna`s men were securing the docks and keeping an eye on our ship.

You all think that. But none of you have actually seen them!

Gallador ignores the illusion and turns back to Yago:

"If you want us to help you, you must help us!

First, Jenna has sent her men to keep an eye on our ship. Send your followers to look for them.

Second, we need Mika out of his apartment, maybe you could call for him? Tell him it is urgent."
