Will Episode III surpass any of the OT movies? [Merged]

Well we've all got our different opinions likes and dislikes, AOTC was the most different from any of the other movies, i guess thats my major peev, i went and saw it with my parents and my dad is 53 years old and he saw all the movies when they were released and hes not realy a major fan he liked the OT and he said E1 was pretty good i remeber right in the threater my bad whispering jesus christ can we move along here i though i came to watch Star Wars, and making the snoring sound and stuff. That really made me think about the OT to the PT and just how useless that part of the story was and how they could have made the same outcome but with a different formula, hmm i just dont know yet i really hope ROTS makes it complete and gives a reason as to why we needed to dwell on this constant love theme. I never thought i would get restless in a theater during a SWs movie but that day i did, i just kept saying "Ok whens somthing unexpected going to happen?!?!"... but it never did🙁 , watching it at home is much better and it moves alittle quicker. But I know everyone on this forum has fast forwarded through those scenes atleast once to get to Obi's story or just make the story move abit quicker, theres just nothing interesting or amazing about watching Anakin and Padime interact with each other in those scenes i dont get a strong sense of cemesty ethier.

I think it has to be. We've been waiting nearly 30 years for this movie. It's his last Star Wars film, a truly remarkable era comes to an end. Lucas is going above and beyond in terms of making it good and I think you will all agree with me once it is out. Or you might already 😄

I agree with those that say Empire and Star Wars cannot be topped....perhaps ROTJ by ROTS...

Of COURSE it will top it. No question. ESB is a story of a desperate group of heros who all make it out okay in the end. except for han solo.

It's a slow moving kind of weird story about a group of people that are taken into a trap, but escape in the end. There are many weird scenes on hoth, and the thing in the monsters mouth is just weird.......

Revenge of the Sith, is a tragic drama about treachery and crushing defeat. It's a story of saddness and cruelty, of facing the truth, and questioning why it happened. Empire Strikes back is nothing next to it. A mere adventure of a few heros inside this devestating world that Revenge of the Sith created.

I can see both your points. Personally I think ROTS will be the best of them all. I like TPM and AOTC better then ESB, and I'll probably like ROTS better than AOTC when the time comes.

Okay, add "i am your father". It still doesn't make the movie come close to Revenge of the Sith.
