A lot of the older arguments here are lol worthy. But anyways, on the topic.
People bring up such and such of Pete is more used to being mortal or some such like that. Well, for the skill showings brought up for Pete(at least that I can see; Image Shack links aren't working for me), this actually contradicts that argument. Spider-Man's fighting style is shown to rely on his powers, his much greater than human agility and general spider-likeness, superhuman speed or not.
Though Superman does from time-to-time use speed and flight to be much more mobile than humanly possible, and does use flying ram type attacks, most of his fights, aside from the ones in the air being in the air, are much closer to being what a normal human brawl would be like, just scaled up in physical power, compared to those examples for Spidey.
I mean this--
--translates to a powerless fight a lot more than this--
--or this--
Also, what type of stats has Pete shown when powerless? When powerless from thinking he was Gangbuster, he did this.
Among other things.
And I have a hard time buying Pete has more heart and willpower than Clark. A powerless Pete went after Doc Ock? That's nice. A powerless Clark with nothing more than a Legion Flight Ring went after Earth-Man who had the combined powers of several Legion Of Super-Heroes members. That's a whole lot more powerful than Doc Ock. Superman also has other examples of fighting powerless(or severely weakened so he might as well be), but that's probably the ballsiest example.
This is a stomp for Clark. Being powerless is something he has experienced before, on multiple occasions. He still has some decent skill at fighting, nothing special, but combine that with his size? Yeah, stomp.
It's very strange to me when people seem to think Superman has picked up no fighting skills whatsoever in his time as a superhero. There were entire story arcs surrounding him doing just that.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he is a master fighter, he's not skilled on the level of Batman or anywhere close, but there is a difference between not being anywhere near Batman and having no skill at all.
The both of them are reliant on their powers for their fighting abilities superman fights like a dumb brick 99% of the time and occassionally pulls out the fighting lessons he's picked up over the years/ pressure point nonsense etc but his style is still essentially built around the fact that few can match his raw physicallity. Parker does rely a lot on his natural agility and spidersense though the spidey sense reliance has lessened since the IF lessons to overcome its temporary loss. That said I still have to give it to Superman. Assuming we give them equal body stats i.e. height and weight. If we make them both not fight like derps. Superman is at the very least profficient in 2 separate Kryptonian martial arts let alone what he's picked up over the years. The same cannot be said for Spiderman as his training has been much more gap filler to his weaknesses rather than him ever needing to rely on a set martial art. He kinda just goes with his agility and spider sense.

Clark wipes the floor with Parker's punk ass. It's questionable if Peter even has a skill advantage here since Clark was trained by Batman, several other martial artists, peter doesn't have his insane agility in this fight, and Superman can still use Torquasm-Rao and Torquasm-Vo.
We are simpatico.
