Wolverine vs. Predator

yeah I miss wolverine8888's extraordinary world of wolverine, it was a wonderful place for any wolverine fan. sigh.

as for this fight (for the umpteenth time) Wolverine still wins more than he loses. It doesn't make any sense, I've seen predators get beaten by too many regular Human's to so easily give this fight to predator, of course there have also be predators like the one in race war that took on 100 inmates and the cracked tusk warrior in AVP(first crossover) that would be much much more worthy opponents, but I still think wolverine would make his own trophy with a predator head.

The shoulder cannon won't do much to stop Logan - a lucky human can take a shot from it and survive.

Up close and personal, Wolvies got it made. He will butcher the alien like mincemeat with his superior agility and longer claws. Even if the Pred caught him with a mean jabs from it's blades, they'd heal over in seconds - which can't be said for the Predator.

A lucky Human who happens to be the star of the movie. You really think they could kill him off? I think he got 8 million for that.

You are severely underestimating the fighting prowess of the predator race.

Those predators are destined to loose. They aren't the star of the show. You're judging them unfairly. Read some of the novels and they'll change your opinions. Besides, those Humans you're talking about are often veteran or highly skilled warriors in there own right fighting unblooded (never hunted before) predators.

Just like Star Trek, Predators have their "crewman number six"es.

dude i've read em, they haven't. i still say wolverine would win. I mean if a predator does come to terms with how good wolverine is, the predator will be itching for a head on confrontation and it will get wasted for sure.

If the predator is about as skilled in the hunt as Grey fox is at typing, or Wolverine8888 at arguing...

what do you mean? I love those arguements, (in tribute to wolverine8888) i have a comic where they fight and wolverine win so I dont cee why he cant do so again.

We all know any wounds the Predator gets will be healed by rubbing molten drywall into the wound and shoving broken vials of glowing liquid into his torso.

Followed by loud rawring.

A predator isn't necessarily a warrior, If he knows he's outmatched he's not going to give his life foolishly. For this reason I think an average predator has a better chance against Wolvie than a super experienced one (he is more likely to plasmacaster his ass good.) Super experienced Pred, 52 to 48, average pred 60 to 40.

i don't know if that plasmacaster is gonna go too much to wolvie besides piss him off, I mean sure it'll hurt wolvie, but probably not kill him, and those things take a little while 3 to 5 seconds to re-energize r whatever for another blast, I'm sure wolvie could dodge it using his enhanced senses. Like i said before if we're talking about cracked tusk, or race war pred, or maybe,,,,,maybe even "big mamma" the fight might lean towards preds favor, but on average wolverine will kill the pred.

I don't know how Wolverine is going to come out just "pissed off" from getting hit with a plasmacaster. Or have much of a chance of dodging it.

well some humans in the comic have been hit with the plasma things and come out fine, wolverine will just get a hole in his flesh, and since wolverine had his entire face removed via shotgun and just stood there talking up a storm I doubt the plasmacaster will be THAT effective on wolverine, lest the pred shoots him 105 and a half times. Wolverine can tell were nightcrawler is going to appear next based on his senses alone and catch him, i doubt dodging the plasma blast is inplausible.

How would Wolverine's enhanced senses help him predict where Nightcrawler is going to appear? That doesn't make any sense.

And were these plasmacaster survivors wearing armor? And don't those home?

There's always the speargun that was mentioned earlier in the thread. Faster than the speed of sound!

oh wait i thought you were talking about the netgun for some reason, lol sorry about that.
but still tha spear will get as far as it can until it hits wolvies bones, then what? wolverine gets pissed, pulls it out, and chucks it at pred for his troubles, spearing him. lol

Umm, those plastmacaster survivors are all the heros of the story, it would be pretty stupid for a writer to kill off the main character.

Wolverine can't tell where Nightcrawler is going to appear because of his senses. It's because he's an awsome fighter and can pick out his opponents patterns.
