Is there some kind of backwards riddle to the sentence? It says "The FF4 were born with their powers". There's no other possible meaning to it.

laydishapes has finally seen the point. It was originally in reply to the fact that because Jean Grey wasn't born the Phoenix, you could revert the Fantastic Four to what they were previously. You can't, because the 'Fantastic Four' has always been that.

The fight is Jean Grey (who has powers) and three others, versus The Fantastic Four, not versus four random people.

They aren't random, they are all connected in a spesho way. THE CIRCLE OF LIFE!!!! (gooberness!)
