PS you do realize that most Iraqis have more freedom now than they did before America invaded. The kurds aren't huddled in no fly zones anymore. Both the Shiia and the Sunni can have a say in the government. Yes, there's more terrorism there now, but from my point of view I'd rather they fight it out over there than over here.

Correction, the majority of muslims are good people. Islamist is a term that has been invented recently to distinguish the islamic terrorists from the basically good muslims.
As far as the Christian thing goes - I think the key phrase there is years ago. And yes, some of them were dangerous, the inquisition, the crusades (some of them anyways - childrens crusade strikes me as idiocy on the part of the papacy). Islam hasn't reached the equivalent of the reformation though it would seem.

Actually it does, and does it all the time. There are MANY examples of how isralian soldiers were killing palestinian civilians.
But when they do it they usually say something like "we did it in respone..." or "they had explosives...". They said the same thing about two boys (10 and 12 years old) that were walking too close to the wall. They just shot them, but there were no explosives found...
