In 19:54 onwards: Also mention in the Book (the story of) Ismail [Ishmael]: He was (strictly) true to what he promised, and he was a messenger (and) a prophet. He used to enjoin on his people Prayer and Charity, and he was most acceptable in the sight of his Lord."

All you have to do is do good, evidently. Prayers don't harm anyone, and charity's always good. I think we are done with charity example, there are many many and the above I randomly picked out. To cite them all would be a great burden to my fingers. 😛

On another note: 49:11 onwards (talk about random picking!): O ye who believe! Let not some men among you laugh at others: it may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): Not let some women laugh at others: it may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): not defame nor be sarcastic to each other, not call each other by (offensive) nicknames: Ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: and those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong.

Quran is telling its followers not to backbite. Sorry for stating the obvious, I just personally feel a bit weird if I write quote without any explanation. But this is just so obvious!

49:12 O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for suspicion in some cases is a sin: and spy not on each other, nor speak ill of each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, ye would abhor it ... but fear Allah: for Allah is oft-returning, Most Merciful.

This is no no way saying "don't do this to each other but treat badly the unbelievers." If one tries to make that statement, he or she is beyond hope at that point.

Such teachings and more are evident throughout the Quran. And because you also stated that those who fellow Muhammad and his teachings are terrorist, here some examples I would like to impress. Taken from the Hadith Summarized Sahih Al-Bukhari.

17:18: Narrated Abu Dhar: I abused a man by calling his mother with bad names. The Prophet (pbuh) said to me: O Abu Dhar! Did you abuse him by calling his mother with bad names? You still have some characteristics of ignorance. Your slaves are your brothers and Allah has put them under your command. So whoever has a brother under his command should feed him of that which he eats and dress him of that which he wears. Do not ask them (slaves) to do things beyond their capacity (power) and if you do so, then help them."

31:24: Narrated Abu Said al-Khudri: Once the Prophet sat on a pulpit and we sat around him. Then he said, "the things I am afraid of most for your sake (concerning what will befall you after me) is the pleasures and splendours of the world and its beauties which will be disclosed to you." Somebody said, "O Allah's Messenger, can the good bring forth evil?" The Prophet remained silent for a while. It was said to that person, "what is wrong with you? You are talking to the Prophet while he is not talking to you." Then we noticed that he was being inspired divinely. Then the Prophet wiped off his sweat and said, "What is the quistioner?" It seemed as if the Prophet liked his question. Then he said, "Goo dnever brings forth evil. Indeed it is like what grows on the banks of the water-stream which either kills or makes the animals sick, except if an animal eats its fill the Khadira (a kind of vegetable) and then faces the sun, and then passes out dung and urine and grazes again. No doubt this wealth is sweet and green. Blessed is the wealth of a Muslim from which he gives to the poor, the orphans and needy travelers (Or the prophet said something similar to it). No doubt, whoever takes it illegally will be like the one who eats but is never satisfied, and his wealth will be witness against him on the day of Resurrection."

---

I think it was very unjust of you to call all those who follow the Quran and Messengers as terrorist (as the lowest sense of the word) because clearly, just like with every religion, there is great deal of good which is also preached. Such a generalization does not prove anything positive about those who make it. And just for clarification, a terrorist is one who spreads terror on innocent people - whether it be a Muslim, Christian, Jew, Hindu, etc etc etc.

I hope I have made valid points. 🙂
