Threats of death and harassment from muslim peers? Where did you get that from? Conflict in arab nation is high not because of religion but mostly because of territiries. Does that makes children brainwashed? No. Terrorism is a cause of treatment and hatred of many countries and number of terrorists is many times less than number of criminals in non Arab nations. Does it makes children of other countries brainwashed? No. So basicly you say that children are brainwashed because they live in countries where there is crime and by this logic ALL children in the world are brainwashed.
And not "many" but ALL children in the world at first do not think for themselves because of their age, their parents think for them, but it doesn't makes them brainwashed, their parents teach them of rules of behaivour, about culture and their religion. Same in muslim countries, parents teach children but noone is forced to believe and noone makes you believe nor threatens you. After child grows enough to think for himself he's free to choose any religion he wants and if you think that not being a christian or muslim makes you "less" brainwashed then you are wrong.

I expected this from anyone but you, LU. As far as I know you don't trust stereotypes but know i doubt it. The topic was "muslim children are brainwashed" and you give examples of acts of crime and terrorism, and that doesn't mean that all children that are born in muslim families or learn islam are brainwashed. By this logic all children that live in countries with crime are brainwashed only because there are bad people and criminals in the country. And it is not connected to children that are simply raised in the families.
And one more thing about your examples.
Suicide bombers are not brainwashed, it depends on what bombers are you talking about, if we take world trade center then yes, they were simply crazy, if you take palestine israel conflict then no, they are not brainwashed. It is war. And what they do is not something serious comparing to what israel does.
And about men that "taught" to mistreat women. What the hell are you talking about? What mistreat? Why brainwashed? This is where i realised that you DO believe in stereotypes and it upsets me.
