How is it a peaceful religion if it keeps on proclaiming that my religion is opressive and enslaving, deeming people of my religion as lazy and beggers! Why is it necessary for a peaceful religion to spread lies about other religions? This just brings about hate and discrimination.

Islam does not lies about any religion. Islam has it's own opinion about them but so does all religions have their views on other beliefes.

Ummm, you haven't heard of Jericho? Sorry, I really hate it when someone states that a religion based on the Bible claims things like this. Fact is the Bible is a bloody book. Christianity does not preach this anymore, but the history of it shows it to have happened in the past.

Old Testament is Christianity, you can't separate it to make claims such as that. Christianity doesn't claim to have begun at the New Testament, the Old Testament was still the same religion, from a Christian view.

Though if you think about it "CHRISTianity" started with CHRIST, and he is taught only in the NT....the OT is only speaking of the waited Messiah.

I can't judge God. I don't understand the need for what happened though, no. But it occurred and I don't think we should hide from the fact. I believe that if God said to do it now, it would happen again. The Bible says God does not change, so it must be possible for it to happen again. Do I believe it will happen again? No. Either I believe my religion or I don't, can't stand on the fence.

Dude, yesterday I was on my way to Italy, I wanted to stop by at the Vatican, but I was already twice through it when the car stopped....but I partly agree, much of Islam is still very conservative, like the Catholic church used to bne,,,but I don't hate all Islam for that....
