Cap jumped away as the Hulk slammed into the QuinJet. He heard the jet crumple under the strength of the angry behemoth, and as he rolled to his feet, Hulk kicked what remained of the QuinJet several yards down the street.
"Always the hard way, Dr. Banner!" Cap yelled at the angry green giant. "Well, come and get some!" Captain America tensed his powerful leg muscles, ready to somersault out of the Hulk's way if he charged. He had the commlink open to the Helicarrier, and he could hear the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents scrambling their Hulk containment units. Help for the heroes was only a minute or two away. He just had to contain the Hulk long enough for them to get into position.
ock was scrambling across buildings. when he was struck by a bolt of lightning. he was then hit by a huge metal tusk that sent him flying off the building. his tentacles grabbed on to the side of the building. he climbed the the top and saw electro and rhino. rhino charged at ock while yelling "BETRAYER!!!" ock lifted him self over rhino sending rhino falling down to the streets of new york. electro then charged at ock while electrocuting him electro pushed him off the side of the building, still electricuting ock so he couldn't grab on to the side. "BYE OCTAVIOUS!!!" he yelled
Cap rolled away from the Hulk's swing and came up on his feet. Octavius and the Goblin crashed on top of the green giant, angering him further, and then Silver Surfer starting lobbing bolts of energy into the fray. This is getting out of hand, Cap thought. I have to get the Hulk contained so we can figure out what the hell has been going on.
"I hate to be ignored, Dr. Banner. I invited you to this party; let's see if I can regain your attention!" Captain America dodged some flying debris and leaped over the Hulk's head, flipping over the giant and slamming his shield as hard as he could into the behemoth's face. Hulk gave out a loud roar and swung blind at the star-spangled Avenger, but Cap had already rolled away and come up underneath Hulk's line of sight. He flexed his powerful arm muscles and punched upward, catching Hulk in the adam's apple of his neck with the edge of his mighty shield. The Hulk staggered backward, more from surprise than pain, then smashed the ground beneath him. Captain America again leapt away, slinging his shield at a lamp post, severing the pole and causing it to fall across the Hulk's back. He landed near Electro, catching his rebounding shield and slamming it hard into the power source of the electrically powered villain. As the power-pack began to arc, Cap tossed the unconscious villain onto the live wires of the exposed lamp post. Hundreds of thousands of volts surged through the pole and into the Hulk.
The fight was finally over. Banner was contained and under heavy sedation, as were the rest of the villains at the scene. Octavius seemed apologetic, but the S.H.I.E.L.D. security team took him into custody as well until everything could be sorted out.
"Everything's under control now, sir," a S.H.I.E.L.D. squad leader reported to Cap. "We're transporting Dr. Banner up to the Helicarrier, and the Rhino, Electro, Dr. Octopus and the Goblin are being taken to The Vault. We're sending two teams with the Vault security squad as back-up, and Dr. Richards has offered the FF as additional security. They're riding shotgun until the bad guys can be safely locked away."
"Thank you, lieutenant," Captain America saluted. "Tell Nick I'll be joining him shortly on board along with a few guests that helped out down here. They'll have my clearance."
"Yes, sir," the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent saluted back, then turned to join his fellow agents back to the Helicarrier.
