Superman HV was shown to hurt CM. Without calling forth Shazam, Superman has a better chance to win because he hits harder, is faster...etc. And we both kow what happen when he start saying shazam to Superman.
If you don't believe that Superman is more Versatile, stronger, faster, smarter, or better fighter then please post something that says other wise.

Physically they are equal in where it counts. Although Captain Marvel might not have as many feats, in terms of pure lifting strength etc. but when it comes down to it, they can match each other for blow, and when it comes to a physical slug fest, I say it's split evenly. I believe Superman does have a small speed advantage, but not in anyway big that it really counts in my opinion.
Throw in their exotic power sets, and Superman has Torquasm-Vo but Captain Marvel does have his mystical powers such as channeling it through his punches etc.

When has supermans HV hurt captian marvel? Btw this thread is old. Current shazam or freddy freeman would get wasted by supes, and current billy has extremely low showings. I cant see shazam ever winning agasint current supes with or without his upgrades to magic. To bad really. D.C destroyed captian marvels character again. Hopefully they wont shelve him for 30 years this time before he makes a come back.

superman cant resist magic and shazams lightning is magic if he where to hit supes hard enough and after afew times it would knock him out. the problem is supes is faster than cap.PC superman can but this fight is with regular old superman
The current Superman has take magical beings in their own dimension and has defeated them. He also has a upgraded magic defense. The other thing is, the lighting can be dodge. Superman can be intangible, or move faster. We all know Superman is faster then Marvel.

If your refering to the magical lightning, superman was literally screaming when he got hit by them. And was bleeding from the nose and ears btw. KC supes also had magical upgrades like current supes. Prolong exposure to the sun helped there. Even so KC cap is a peer to KC supes but KC supes is still stronger by a bit then cap.
