I'm not saying that its not powerful but I think that Supes could take it and be ok with it just like captain marvel could.

wonderwoman took it during one of the most badly written superman fights of the last decade. i wouldn't take one showing over the many contradictory ones.

Naah, you just need to take into consideration all of the powerful energy blast that wonder woman has taken along with all of the blast that Superman has taken, etc...
Heat vision would cause the slight pain but taking them out of the fight, no.

Just thinking off the top of my head here, but perhaps WW and CM's magical based durability presents more of a challenge to Superman's heat vision that a fellow Kryptonian would. hmm
