John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Jesus was a dude, jesus wasn't god. In fact he was a baseball player for the houston astros, there was a guy named jesus selu. jesus is the same name as joshua. There's at least three jesus's in the old testament. Jesus wasn't god but christ is.

Jesus is God, Joseph was his dad. Jesus Christ our "LORD", the lord is our God. Believe what you want, and I will as well..

It'll be quite funny when a lot of people are standing at those white gates to get in and they're greeted by a man in robes, Jesus. They'll be shocked.

if that would amuse guess you will get a problem to enter yourself

Rudeness doesnt get you anywhere, believe me on that one..

get some more experience under your belt and then come back and say the same thing

many will be greeted by Jesus and heaven.

What about the church being the bridegroom in Revelation? [ /QUOTE] A bridegroom is a man, God would have to be a woman. Sp I guess God really is a woman ynless he's gay.

God uses symbolism. Jesus is the bridge groom and the his Church is the bride.

I know, the bible is full of symbolism. I can understand why we can have a few denominations, but I read on another message board there are something like 2000 different denominations of christianity. There's only one bible but all these different interpretations, it doesn't make sense.

it makes sense in the way that those faithful cant agree on how to interpreter the bible, so when disagreeing they just split up into new denominations

2000 is a lot of different interpretations.

I'm sure that's what you have been taught

Mark 7:7
Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
He had to be a man in order to be the perfect sacrifice. We sinned God didn't,

alot of people only listen to the commandments of men in alot of churches.

at the times the bible was written it was a male dominent world. The writers of the bible only reflected to what was know to them, of the world they knew

The Gnostics who were later labeled heretics at the councel of Nicea believed that Jesus had a spiritual sister named Sophia who entered his body when he was baptized. She was the devine wisdom or holy spirit which is refered to as being female in the old testament but refered to as being male in the new. The catholic church called the gnostics heretics but has or did have a picture of Sophia in the stained glass windows of their churches. While converting pagans they took on so many of their practices that a pagan on another board askedo who converted who. The reformers in the middle ages got rid of some of the pagan practices but I don't think they did enough. The lutheran church of today is almost like the catho;ic church and if he knew it Martin Luther would turn over in his grave and puke.
A Jew said the holy spirit in hebrew is a feminine wordand in Proverbs
the bible says 8:1-3 refer to wisdom as she or her while, John 16:12-14 refers to wisdom as the spirit of truth and calls her a he. The spirit of truth which is the holy soirit sounds like wisdom to me. Why is it reffered to as she and her in proverbs and he in John? The gnostics were more right than we give them credit for. The holy spirit is the feminine aspects of God which has even been called god the mother and that might be a way of explaining it, I think if the holy spirit were to incarnate it would likely be a woman.

the spirit was shaped live a dove when descended on Jesus when baptized. The Sky's opened and a voice said, this my son, I take delight in him, listen to him! This was the voice of god and told everyone how pleased he was with him and how everyone must listen to him. The spirit isn't anything for jesus said, when he comes the world will never recognize him. The only reason we have the spirit is because of jesus, the special servant of God. people before that didn't have it because of sin, only a few did. God even had prophecy when the spirit will be given to all men, not just a few. The holy spirit is not a woman or man but a spirit, they aren't anything people think they are, because they don't recognize him. Holy spirit is not mentioned that much in the old testament. They called it the spirit. Jews do call it him or her but it doesn't have a gender like God.

This would explain both aspects of God...Male/Female..Yin/Yang...

All religions have some truth in them.

Most do... ✅ Some truth.

God doesn't have a gender. some religions do have a little truth but still not getting to the point.

the closest thing Christians have to a Goddess concept is the Mother Mary.
