There are some newer translations that always use He/she when talking about god...The church wouldn't like it if god is a woman...that's why it's changed to male....though god doesn't have a sex....just both qualities as is mentioned in proverbs talking about wisdom being a woman and that Jesus was that wisdom.
This is part of a letter I got from a witch at one of my yahoo groups. The group thinks that women should rule the world and I don't know if that would be such a bad idea if they're capable of doing so. Regardless I think it was prophesied that they wil. think God was a woman and women should be worshipped. Prophecy is being fulfil. I think revelation chapter 17 talks about that.
Prophecy expert David Hunt wrote a book a few years ago called A Woman Rides the Beast, and I look at what's happening with the women's movement and I think about that. You can only repress a people or gender of people so long, I think this whole movement of modern feminists may be men's fault.
