I know that this is a Star Wars forum, and so what I am about to say may be consitered blasphemy by some.
But I don't really care. 😄
I went and saw Star Trek last night, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Though, I will admit. It was strange watching a non-William Shatner Kirk... I loved how the actors portrayed the characters so much like the actors in the original series (only with beter acting), It was really well done.
That said Star Wars is still beter than Star Trek. (About 97% of the time)

Personally, I think Bones was the best character, simply because he completely reminded me of DeForest Kelly's performance in the original TV show.
And Spok actually looked like he could be a young Leonard Nemoy (you know, after makeup and such.)
And Kirk did good, I could see alot of the old William Shatner character in it. Though it did seem strange watching a Captain Kirk without William Shatner's unique acting style.

Oh, from the point that Bones gave the shot to when Kirk finally ended up on the bridge was just funny. Kirk's hands swelling, then his tongue, and Bones giving him shot after shot. That was Hillarious.
I'm probably going to go watch it again the week after next. May take Nac with me again, but I just don't know... Would watch it next week, but I'm pretty sure Angels and Demons comes out then doesn't it?

*sigh* never been to a prom. stupid high school - they said proms... er, "worldly". we had a stupid "grad ball" - with only some sorta choreographed cottilion.. didn't even have a partner who I liked. it was almost banned even - said we people were dancing "too close" to each other. wth?!
couldn't even play drums - until we students pushed and pushed...
I'm glad to be outta that school. Freedom! I'm a Christian, but, that is just too much. O.o
