there is a german film out now describing the last days of Hitler, it describes him as the selfish psychopath he was. the film is called "Untergang" and I saw it last night and it was outstanding.

is it an old film??

I didn't say that it doesn't. What I was commenting on was how BF said he failed to do what he set out to, and someone equated that to US presidents who certainly were not 'evil'. I was saying that just because someone failed doesn't make them evil. I said nothing about their methods.

Yeah the Movie Finti is refering to is called "Der Untergang" its ok I personally didn't find it great but watchable. I think it even gets a chance to win an oscar I sam not sure though 😮.
Anywaqy Hitler was probably a great tactician and he surely was able to move the masses, but his actions were sick, and he is one of the woratr humans that ever lived.

Actually, he was a pretty poor tactician, if I remember what I learned in History and German class...he had many chances where he could have won but didn't.

However, he was a great speaker, and excellent at twisting words around and getting people to blindly follow him.

It just came out last year in Germany. It wasn't released in the US (at least I don't think so).

He was a strategist, not a tactician, in which respect he had great vision but little practicality.

I am sorry I missused the word tactician, I meant strategist, well he probably missed some chances to win but just to take it as far as he did was pretty hard, you know if you want to take over the world germany isn't exactly the best choice as starting pont.
