whos stronger superman or hulk??

Wht is it that everyone assumes Hulk and Doomsday are the same? Is because they have the same body shape? If so that's strange because so do thanos and Darkseid and no one thinks they're like the hulk.

Doomsday have vast superspeed. He's about as fast as Superman. He has a a similer level of strength and endurance he is also covered in spikes. Hulk does not have super speed.

Compared to Doomsday & Superman, the Hulk is VERY slow.

yep hit the nail on the head, flash has commented on doomsdays speed, he matches superman physically, which is an awesome feat on its own, plus he is resistant to him now as well, I've also noticed superman commenting on doomsday building up anger or some power as he's fighting you so eventually he can surpass his enemy without dying so to speak.

another level to hulk in essense.

Superman would kill the Hulk.

I believe that if Superman doesn't hold back against the Hulk & gives him a few super-super punches, he's going to be down for the count.

Oy... AGAIN, this isn't a fight. The thread's simply asking WHO. IS. PHYSICALLY. STRONGER. -which is pretty much the only category (along with who has the better healing factor) Hulk does beat Superman at.

I dont see hulk ever being supermans equal or above in strength, the facts man, just the facts.

And what makes you say that? Hulk not only has unlimited potential, but also an unlimited source- his own body. Superman also has unlimited potential, but he a limited source, which is the Sun.

There's only so much solar reserves Superman can absorb before he completely drains the entire Sun. Once he does and the Sun dies, he loses source, his strength stops increasing, and the Hulk can continue amping his strength and leave Supes in the dust.

im not too sure about that, its a theory like this one I've also heard, more so than that one to be honest, that he uses the sun to tap into a higher source, say like the ignition of a car to get the engine running, the sun is the ignition and the much more powerful source is the engine, see what that one suggests, so really these two just go on and on and on til the end of time really.

well they both age dont they so it is up to who gets older fast

I believe that if the Hulk had a huge chunk of kryptonite in his hand and had superman in a vice-like head lock..........well, Superman would wilt and die. Superman is cool, but he has weaknesses. The Hulk does not.

yea but he wouldnt, what kind of point is that? hulk wouldnt even get his hands of the stuff, due to comic facts of these two superman still beasts him, if not, then the all star superman would besides, do you know how much he can hold?

Besides it's not like Kryptonite actually effects Superman all that much now a days. Superboy Priem smacked him around the face with a big lump of it all it did was give Superman a nose bleed.

yea true white reaper but not to hulk, its been done so much now, in the comics and in discussion, but superman looks, and is stronger than hulk every time.

Exactly, just because Superman is my favorite superhero doesn't have anything to do with my judgement. Superman is stronger & faster than the Hulk & that's a fact.

Superman's faster, no question.

However, I have been posting on this thread for over a year and no one's ever shown me a feat of strength performed by Superman that the Hulk could not or has not accomplished.

The most common -and naive- argument by pro-superman posters is "Hulk lifts buildings, Superman pushes planets." Superman's ability to move planets is indeed impressive, but it does not exceed the Hulk's greater feats of strength, which I have posted earlier in this thread.
Superman's greatest feat was pulling the planet Earth via a chain attached to it. The Savage Hulk once survived a universe destroying attack, and deflected it with his thunderclap, destroying the entire cosmos. What has Superman done that compares?

Nowaday's Hulk isn't what he used to be. He's a jobber. If you compare Jobber-Hulk to Superman of today, I would say that Superman is far stronger. However, Hulk was once stronger than Superman ever has been, or ever will be.

Superman would beat current Hulk because he's faster and stronger. That I will agree to.

However, Superman wouldn't be able to put a scratch on Savage Hulk in his prime. He was virtually invincible, and leagues ahead of him in strength.

However, Savage Hulk still wouldn't be able to beat him because he's too slow. But Superman wouldn't win either without a cheap ring-out.
