If god loves everybody equally....

Perhaps he does, maybe not in your reading of the Bible, but perhaps that being exists just the same.

If this life were the only existence we humans had, then I would not believe that God could be fair and just either. If you consider that we may have existed before this life, and will exist after it, then it becomes possible for a just and merciful God to exist. If we made choices in the"pre-existence", the trials and blessings of this life could be results of those choices. Likewise the choices and trials we overcome in this life could be rewarded in the next. Each person would recieve what he/she had earned. And in a universe like that, I think that there would be very few people who were completely "bankrupt" at the final reckoning.

If something like that didn't exist then there would be no way that life could be fair, and I would agree with you.

It seems you've actually took the time to read and understand my argument for once.

Thanks.

To answer the question............

God does.............Why wouldn't it................and it is an "It"..........Infact it could be neutral.......but I feel there is much more to this than what we might/think to what the whole scenario might be...................It my be like a circle inside a circles...meaning.............our understanding is only from our own perspective, yet there IS A BIGGER PICTURE........ie........something that we KNOW NOT.......

and if we dont know it...and have no data on it...why are we making wild speculations about it?

Because we are creatures of investigation/curious (bad Adam and eve)...........and we are about science.............and we want to know as proved by many links and pages.....not only here..............yes?

yes we want to know, but nothign points to the existance of supreme beings.

Humanity is so conditioned to the idea of supreme powers (through mythology, empires, and governments) that so many people tend to beleive in the absolute existance of superiors.

That beleif in a true superior is what takes away from the belief of Equality.

Unless you also believe you can become just like that supreme power. You may not be equal now, but you've got the potential.

Unless you already are the supreme power.

Meh. Humans are social beasts, they congregate. Humans are also impulsive and emotive and have desires. Natural and I dare say necessary for the formation of a system of management to regulate these impulses and direct the energy of the masses in a useful manner. Up till this point in time I dare say none have been 100% perfect or effective.

Still, I prefer human order to trying to create a deity to run things. Human can be dealt with, understood and fallacies identified. The moment you create a God, full of human flaws but with apparently divine and untouchable power, then things get far more wrong. You can't win an argument with a monotheistic God - firstly because they don't debate. Secondly because they are always right, even when they seem blatently wrong.
