Storm vs. Dr. Doom

Funny how Demi says that we say all that stuff (when we haven't, really) everytime we post, but then he makes an comment like "Doom walks away saying I'm useless without prep". Which couldn't factually be more false.

she can minuplate wind- she can bring oxygen to her(she has done it before) and she can take it away and out of your lungs( she has also done this before)

That is what I can't understand. How can she manipulate the oxygen inside the lungs? It has nothing to do with the weather.

But still, Doom could just shoot couple of blasts at Storm. She can't dodge them all.

Doom can completely turn her powers off...Storm supporters just dont get it...it doesnt matter what kind of powers or how powerful they r...Doom doesnt beat people by blasting them or having a contest of strength...Although he has shown his regular armor is strong enough to grapple a cosmic power Tyros and his blasts can destroy a sentinel or knock out Adam Warlock in one shot...Its about strategy, intelligence and determination...Doom beats almost anyone in these categories...he has already conquered the Earth, and is supposed to do it again in the future. When Doom was stripped of his armor he killed a lion with his bare hands...when the Beyonder blasted off Dooms leg and started dissecting him, he was still tough enough to activate a device to steal the beyonder's power...Its not about how much power u throw at Doom...he beats Storm...rather easily.

Yes... that's been my point. She has four hours worth of air to work with in attacking him. The more volume she has to work with, the stronger and faster her weather effects are. Four hours is plenty to create a vortext that won't allow him to breathe.

Do you know what wind is? It's air that moves. We breathe air. She moves the air OUT of his lungs.

Again, if she's behind cloud cover, he won't even see her, much less be taking shots at her.

Have you even read the thread? Most of that post isn't even relevant to a debate of STORM versus DOOM. And, Doom turning her powers off means he considers her a grave threat. Doom's ego wouldn't allow that.

He doesnt usually engage anyone in a fist fight..only in the worst scenerio...even when he encountered the Hulk, he simply scrambled his neurons and Hulk couldnt even walk let alone attack Doom...shooting blasts at her? this is Doom not a doombot.

Who's talking about a fistfight? I'm talking about Storm suffocating the guy from cloud cover. It's funny you mention scrambling Hulk's neurons, because Storm has knocked out and temporarily killed the Hulk with a blast of lightning to the head. She had to shock his heart again to bring him back.

Maybe I'm in too deep in the fantasy world, but in Diablo I there's spell call infravision that allows you to see a person's heat signature through opaque objects.

Maybe Doom can cast a similar spell since he knows magic.

Ummm... during the onslaught story... lemme go look up the exact issue number.

EDIT: Okay. Hulk was chasing Cable in issue 34 andnear the end Storm shows up and knocks him around with wind. Then, in issue 444 of Incredible Hulk, she hits him in the head with lightning in a plan with Cable meant to just stun him. Cable kneels over his chest and says he thinks he's dead. Cable clears his mind from Onslaught's influence, and Storm restarts his heart with another lightning strike to the chest.

It was an issue of Cable. Cable and Storm fought the Hulk. They accidentally killed him by overloading his brain and giving him a heart attack when trying to free him from Onslaught's control. Storm had to become the world's most powerful defibrillator and shock him back to life.

Actually, even if you aren't joking, there are thigns that let you see the infrared spectrum. But, Storm can control the temperature around her, making the area warm enough to obscure her to heat vision.

EDIT: Lol, demi, I've actually been rereading the Onslaught saga, so I had the disk it's all backed up on still in the drive.
