preview art for generation x seems to suggest that even though wanda turned off chamber's mutant genes, his "sentient energy" still survived. applicably, the sentient energy form quentin has should be equally unaffected, in particular as it has no human genetics trapping it (as did chamber's.)
i'm still holding out for iceman having at least minor powers. i believe he said he was having "trouble" with his powers, which could infer that they're not completely gone. he was soaking wet, which he's never been upon reverting from ice form to human form, and he said "is this the end of iceman?" perhaps he was implying that he still has weaker, hydrokinetic abilities, which could explain the water, the "trouble," and the end of "ice"man. he also may or may not be expressing some form of mutant power on an upcoming x-men issue cover. so i've got my fingers crossed, though it doesn't look good.
and i'm pretty sure all the kids in the revamped new x-men: academy x still have their powers. surge does, hellion does, mercury does, x-23 does, and rockslide does, as shown on a preview cover of an upcoming issue. elixir's still all gold, so he might as well have his powers...

OHO!!! can you post it or present a link, cause i don't know what these 198 files are...please! 😮
Well after that whole decimation malarky, marvel released the "198 files" which is basically a list of mutants who survived the "no more mutants" reakity warp. Franklin is on that list, and states he is an omega mutant.
vulcan's powers were pushed "beyond omega level" due to the massive energies released on m-day. what that truly entails, we don't know, but it seems to imply vulcan can pretty much do anything he damn well chooses. considering "omega level" is a nigh-undefined term, and the energies of the decimation were the catalyst, it's still possible vulcan is no more an omega than havok or cyclops; his powers may have just been ****ed over. i'd say it's a safe bet, though.
marvel girl is still not an official omega.
who the hell is tattle tale and when was he/she confirmed omega level? also, is everyone also sick of random people just becoming omega? like before it used to be something special to be an omega, now it's nothing special anymore. you got
jean
iceman
kid omega
elixir(wasn't it basically wasted on him, is he even a popular character)
franklin richards
vulcan
Mr. M
and some others i forgot. back when the characters like storm, gambit, and polaris were possible omegas, that's when i liked it. when you were a possible omega, it was like...wow...but now it's nothing special. next thing we know there will be some level above omega and suddenly everyone will be classified there.
Alright, I've been reading some of this, and I was wondering, how exactly do you qualify someone as an omega-level mutant? I mean depending on how you want to classify them changes who is and who isn't an omega-level mutant. Like Wolverine, nobody ever classifies him as an omega, but some classify elixer as one. So really, they're impossible to classify. At least that's what I think.
Elixir is one kick ass dude 😄 his powers are alot more powerful than Wolverine. Elixir has alot of potential (he can only heal now, but because of his youth his control over his power will increase and he can explore them further) its like iceman... original iceman was a sucker, but Omega iceman (When he fufils his potential) was one of the most powerful mutants on the planet 😄
Hope that helps
