shock You actually agree with us that Rachel hasn't really been classified as an Omega mutant. I'm quite surprised, to be honest.

Anyway I'm pretty certain the only reason that he's trying to have Rachel be classified as an Omega is that he wants to be able to call Starhawk an Omega.

I agree with your reasoning and i felt you presented your case really well. Since the omega mutant classification has been officially established Rachel hasnt on panel been labelled under that classification.

Yes it can be argued that Rachel is an omega, because of her virtually unlimited potential and her ties to the Phoenix Force, but without on panel verification, you're right, shes officially not an omega.

Hypothetically speaking if Rachel Grey was an Omega mutant how would he manage that?

I guess this further proves that being a host of the Phoenix Force does not make you an Omega mutant. Phoebe Cuckoo Frost and Rachel Grey being prime examples.

I posted the convoluted reasoning, if one can even call it reasoning before so can just repost it I suppose:

He maintains that Starhawk, the character entered and manipulated the White Hot Room in the mid 90s, and that this puts him on par with Phoenix Jean Grey and that therefore he is an Omega mutant.

This is despite being shown scans that it was the White Room - a place where Protectors of the Universe, such as Quasar, go when they die, not the White Hot Room - of Morrison New X-Men origin afaik, and despite that he only entered it because he had the Quantum bands, never "manipulated" the White Room, and only managed to break out of it because his power wasn't solely from the Quantum bands... And foremost despite that he was never labeled an Omega mutant and his appearances occur before X-Men Forever...

I see, by that reasoning Jamie Braddock would be an Omega Level mutant.

But ironically Starhawk still wouldn't. 313

Gah!

The officially confirmed 7 Omegas are therefore:
Jean Grey
Iceman (Bobby Drake)
Kid Omega (Quentin Quire)
Mister M (Absolom Mercator)
Franklin Richards
Vulcan (Gabriel Summers)
Elixir (Josh Foley)

Aren't those things, supposedly, friggin HUGE? Larger than both lions and tigers?

not choosing sides but i have a question

Was any of the officially named OMEGA mutants, omega mutants prior to 2001,or somewhere in their exploits they attained the rank(so to speak)

I.E Jean grey is an OMEGA level mutant, was she one in her first appearence? or did she attain the level from experience and age?

Has jean always been a omega level mutant?

Retroactively, Jean has always been an omega mutant. You're born into your 'class.'

However, prior to 2001, the word 'Omega' had absolutely no meaning. Hence, as far as anyone knew, Jean was just a powerful mutant before she was designated omega.

Anyways, back on topic;

Ligers grow much larger than lions and even larger than the largest tigers. On average, ligers stand at about 10-12 ft when standing on their hind legs. The largest non-obese Liger, known as Hercules, is said to weigh over 544kg (1200 lb), [7] over twice the size of a male lion.

Yep.

Their huge size works against them in the wild, however. I think it's because you can't be agile and stealthy when you're as large as a bear.

Here's Hercules:

i also once heard that ligers were bred for their skills and magic. is that true?

Only the purple ones... 313

It's the kindof movie that I hated when I was watching it, and laughed about/quoted it later on.

You would hate it.

Actually, it was pretty terrible.

This one doesn't look nearly as big... hmm

It also looks like bad photoshop. But who knows? It's only from a website called worth1000.com, who's title is "Photoshop contests."

I do like how it looks better though.

God should pay more attention to photoshop contests.
