Norway sided with the US because we are an ally of the country plus the majority of the people here thought US did the right thing, you really think that Germany and France lost face by not siding with USA.
And during the Soviet - Afghanistan war the west sided with the Afghans, not because they were the strongest but they felt that was the right thing to do

Crazy? Maybe, but it will happen. No empire lasts forever, and China and India are rising nations - many people...more than the US...if they arm themselves and get real angry it's gonna be one hell of a war against the Western world. Even the great Roman Empire went down, so the USA will definitely too.

Oh I agree that no empire lasts forever...It's been said many times that the US will have to take a back seat to someone else. But to have china and India as super powers would really be a scary thing..People over there seem so unstable and iron fisted and sometimes act in un-humanitarian ways.

Wel, who else but China or India - all the major European countries had their turn. There's a reason why the US don't bother China - it ignores China, because it knows.....

If it does happen, I think it will be a Muslim country or union of them.
