Hey...maybe in the 6th book we will find put all the heirs of all different groups....Harry will be 16 and Voldemort found out he was the heir when he was 16....
Another thing is that Slytherin kept a chamber when he left...Maybe Grifindor made a chamber before he died or smth like that...or the three groups made a chamber...
for the final thing...i was readin the COS...i came out with this...Harry recieved toothpicks from his aunts....they sent an owl...how on earth do they know how to use an owl and which owl knows wizadry or smth like that.... Maybe harrys aunt is a witch and his mom was a witch....Maybe his mom is not a mudblood...i think she and her family knows something big so harrys mom hid as a mudblood and harry's aunt as a muggle...We will come to know it in the next book...Maybe they know who the HBP is???

We know it's not Harry...Tom Riddle? Is it too presumptuous to think that JKR would use that twice? Then again, the villain in all the books (except PoA) has been Voldemort...why not again?

Even if there isn't a prophesized heir there would still be one through blood lines, unless of course the other three never reproduced...we don't know.
Also, I think Tom Riddle knew he was the heir before he was 16 b/c he says "It had taken ME five whole years to find out everything I could about the Chamber of Secrets and discover the secret entrance...." (pg. 312). So this leads me to believe that he at least knew of the chamber, possibly not that he was the actual heir, but probably. B/c why else would he have spent 5 yrs. of his youth looking for it, for kicks and giggles?
On page 39 of this forum I said something about Petunia possibly being a squib, so that she would know of magic having come from a wizarding family, but then would hate it b/c she couldn't do it, sort of like Argus Filch.
But then I'm taken back to what Harry said about his "common MUGGLE-BORN mother" (pg. 316).
Petunia does seem to know things though, like the Dementors being the guards of Azkaban Prison (OotP pg. ? yeah right, I'm not that good...). It is possible, growing up w/ a witch in the family (Lily), that she would pick up on things. Also, it might be possible that Dumbledore had sort of kept up a correspondance w/ her to check on Harry. And of course Dumbledore would have done so through owl....

This would explain how Harry received a toothpick by owl for Christmas...Petunia had perhaps picked up on some of Lily's world through Lily. Plus the undeniable fact that whenever mail comes for Harry it comes by owl. And in his second year, Uncle Vernon wouldn't let Hedwig come out of her cage a) b/c it would draw attention and make the Dursley's not look like the perfectly normal family they longed to be and b) b/c he didn't want him "sending messages to [his] freaky little friends" (quote from the movie).

but i thought talkin about magic or anythin related to magic is bad according to the dursleys....then y on earth would they want to send smth to harry in a wizarding school... I think one year it was a pair of Uncle Vernon's socks or something....It's not exactly a "presant" as we would think, but it is Christmas, and they are his family. It's the thought that counts, and at least they remember that Harry is alive. Does Harry send anything to them for Christmas? Not that we know of...
Anyway, I've been reading through this forum (I'm about half way finished) and it has come to my attention that there are some GREAT ideas here. So I thought it would be a good idea to do a little recap for those people who don't feel like going through. I'm sad to say that some of my ideas that I thought were so great and original were said months ago...but I didn't read them, b/c I only joined this forum like 5 days ago or something....anyway...
**Most people agree that Neville will play a bigger role in the 6th book. Some say he is the one that the prophecy was talking about, others say that would be stupid of JKR to do that....As for me I think no matter who the prophecy is about Voldemort is going down. And that in the end it will be Harry and Neville together who kill Voldemort....The thing is about this prophecy is it's vagueness. And we have to take into consideration Harry's lightning bolt scar...was it Voldemort marking him as an equal, or was it Lily's love for her son rebounding Voldemort's curse off of baby Harry leaving only a scar and stripping Voldemort of his powers/body. Another thing to think of is, was Voldemort trying to mark Harry, or was he trying to kill Harry. I always thought he was trying to kill him...We also have the fact that Dumbledore said that he had no doubts that Harry is the one that the prophecy was talking about. Another thing to consider about Neville, is his great advances in the DA. He is getting much more powerful, and really honing in on his skills. I bet he is really a powerful wizard, but he just can't control it yet.
**As for Harry's Quidditch ban...I think that will be lifted and he'll be allowed to play again. There is nothing that can take the place of a Quidditch match, the Tri-Wizard Cup came close....Some people predict that Harry will be captain...well...he probably has seniority on the team, but other people are also saying he is Head Boy, as well as the savior of the Wizarding World....I don't know, it just sounds like too much on his plate...It's not that far of a stretch, but we don't know if last year's captain, was it Angelina?, has graduated...
**A lot of people talked about the possible couples in the next book
Ron/Hermione, Harry/Hermione, Harry/Ginny, Harry/Luna, Draco/Hermione, Neville/Ginny
**Most people, and I am included, agree that we will find out more about Lily (Evans) Potter...Hopefully something that will answer the question of whether or not Aunt Petunia is a squib...Also about how Lily and James did end up together b/c it seems that Lily was not James' biggest fan...
**Could Dumbledore be using his portrait on the Chocolate Frog Cards as a communication tool btwn. members of the Order just as the portraits of the old Headmasters of Hogwarts used theirs to spy on goings on in the wizard world? He did say that they could strip him of every title he has as long as they let him be on the cards...
*Does Harry inherit Grimmauld Place from Sirius? Sure that seems logical. But what if Bellatrix Lestrange inherits it...She is family, and Kreacher does love her like he loved Mrs. Black...
**Percy Weasley, what are we going to do w/ that kid? I had thought that he could perhaps be working as an undercover agent for the Order, spying on the Ministry, but that was never explained. In an interview that I read, JKR said that Percy was acting of his own free will--so that crosses out the Imperius Curse/being possessed by someone. But it does not cross out him being a double agent. He may have had to stage those fights w/ his family and disrespect his father at the ministry in order to get closer to the corrupt inner circle. However, even in his Hogwarts days, Percy was a sniveling suck up. It wouldn't be hard to believe that he was just trying to do better than his father in the ministry. Boy, will his panties be in a twist if Arthur Weasley becomes the next Minister of Magic! Some people go even so far as to say that Percy will become a Death Eater!
**Some people think that Sirius' motorcycle will play a big role in the 6th book. As for me, I think that was JKR's clever way of introducing a character in a small way that would have HUGE consequences for the central plot of the entire series...
**A question of the Houses that people were in. To clear everything up, all of the Maurauder's (Potter, Black, Lupin, and Pettigrew) were in Gryffindor. It is interesting that Pettigrew got into Gryffindor b/c he was certainly not brave. He does do some daring crazy things in book 4, but if you look at his motives he does them out of fear of Voldemort, not b/c he is brave....He also didn't have much talent. In book 3 it says something about how Pettigrew was the last of the Maurauder's to become an Animagus b/c it was so difficult for him, and James/Sirius (I forget) had to help him out a lot...I think Peter should have been in Hufflepuff...Also, Hagrid was in Gryffindor...
**Some people think Voldemort will possess someone again, perhaps a Hogwarts teacher...no comment. Other ideas of this calibur include the fact that Dementors will invade Hogwarts...yeah, right.
**Some people think that Viktor Krum will become a Death Eater. I find this idea fascinating. He could either use Hermione to get close to Harry or Hermione could find out that he is a traitor and duel him. Or maybe Ron would duel him. He would be facing his hero and kick his butt! Then Hermione and Ron could be together (can you tell I'm rooting for Ron and Hermione!?!?)
**Could Umbridge return? Did Grawp take care of her, or could she come back? If she did come back she would definitely be on Voldemort's side, that evil wench!
**Ron's death has been predicted by MANY people. And I agree...sadly. I think it is very possible that before the series ends, our favorite little red head will die...Another possibility is that Ron is so fed up w/ always being in Harry's shadow that he will leave Harry, b/c seriously, out of the three, Ron is the weakest link. He might befriend Draco, and that could have serious consequences...Voldemort could use him to spy on Harry...But then you have to think that w/ all of Ron's character flaws, one of his greatest attributes is his loyalty. Why else would he have stuck around w/ Harry for so long. I think the only way Ron would ever turn his back on Harry would be if he were being possessed/controlled by Voldemort/ a Death Eater (Percy?)...
**I think a great idea that I read was that Harry and Neville will team up against Bellatrix! She is, however, responsible for putting the Longbottom's in a permanent room at St. Mungo's, as well as "killing" Sirius...(You'll see why I put that in quotation marks later)...
**Another great one is that Ginny Weasley will become an animagus (b/c the rumor that Harry, Hermione, and Ron has already been dispelled by JKR herself, I believe)...

He would not have solved the mysteries of the Sorcerer's Stone or the Chamber of Secrets, he wouldn't have been able to save Sirius in the Prisoner of Azkaban, or compete in all of Tri-Wizard Tournament Tests let alone complete any, nor would he have stood a chance in the Ministry of Magic against the Death Eaters by himself....taking away his friends seems like the perfect way for Voldemort to defeat Harry...

I think that in Book 6 or 7, we will find out that Sirius’ brother, Regulus, was the one who really died in book 5. Last Sirius heard was that Regulus had wanted to leave the Death Eaters, so Voldemort ordered him to be killed.Then, according to Luna Lovegood’s dad’s tabloid, someone who looked exactly like Sirius (under the name Stubby Boardman, I believe) was eating dinner with a girl a year later, the night Wormtail committed all the murders. He told the girl he had left public life a year earlier. I think that was the brother, and he was in hiding so Voldemort’s followers wouldn’t find and kill him. 15 years later, Harry comes to save Sirius at the Ministry of Magic, but in the death scene, none of the adults ever call Sirius by name, and Bellatrix only refers to him as “cousin” or the “Animagus Black”- so it could be Regulus. Being an animagus would help him hide for 15 years, too. And if you read the death scene carefully, Harry never gets a good look at Sirius; his face is bloody, and Harry has “watery eyes.” Dumbledore is the only one who actually says that Sirius is dead. Maybe he wants Harry to believe it so he won’t endanger himself further. Also, if Sirius was upstairs helping Buckbeak when Harry talked to Kreacher through the fire, and the rest of the house was empty, how did Sirius catch up with the others to enter the room with the veil at the exact same time? Maybe Regulus was the one with them all along. Perhaps he joined the Order because he knew the Death Eaters won’t have him back. It’s very plausible that he stumbled upon the Order when he came back home to Grimmauld Place. One last thing- Luna Lovegood at the end is looking for her stolen possessions, while Harry is moping about Sirius. Luna says several times for Harry not to worry- she always finds what she lost- it always comes back to her, etc. Is this a little foreshadowing that Sirius will come back? I hope so!!!"
Tracy here again...how interesting was that!??! I find that sooo fascinating and I hope it's true b/c I felt so bad for Harry when Sirius "died"!!!! Here's hoping...

JKR said that somebody will become a teacher, but it won't be one of the trio. But my bet is on Neville.

Have you ever just remembered a bit of info? That you don't know why its in you head but it is? Like I remember that Charlie Chaplin entered his own look-a-like contest and got 3rd place ( 😆 ). Plus I would remember hearing about something as scary as dementors *shudder*
