well since it can be determined for centuries then no one should win it and since badasses smoke the guys when it comes to combat badasses should win
not a chance...
illdelph... you are not one to talk about fairness... you were giving team members vibranium armor ffs...
image inducers are not standard tech, they never where... they were only used on certain occasions, they are not standard equipment...
Thanks to some consoling and insight from a teammate, I've decided to give this event another try.
I think the rules need to be firmly and fully stated BEFORE the onset of the competitions, Lady. I'm fully aware this is your event, but when you keep changing rules on the fly that benefit one side of the opposing teams completely, it does display a inherrent bias, whether purposely or not, and would lead someone to that conclusion that favortism is at play. That may or may not have been you intent, only you know, but the end results have been apparent, and blatant.
As for this comment pr1983:

There was no rule stipulating that teammates could not use their equipment in conjunction until AFTER Khellendros substituted the Punisher in wearing a spare BP armor for Wolverine due to our penalty card, and it became an issue. Lady then made the rule and voided that possibility so Punisher is wearing his standard bullet proof body rmor.
Only Panther and Punisher were supposed to have the vibranium armor, not the whole team. I think you are confusing my posts with Lord of Dreams posts. He was the one that stated the whole team had BP armor, not me, and when Lady overruled it I accepted the edict and continued without it.

the rules were never changed, the wording explicitly forbade violence during crowd control..... it never specified "only against the crowd"
the telepathy is obviously debatable as to whether or not it is violent, we say it isn't, you say it is..... we asked lady and she gave an opinion..... not a rule change
its common sense that they cant share technology and equipment, come on...
Please.
Don't make me reference comics where Batman devises a plan and gives implements to other JLA teammates to enact it, or countless comic books when communicators are distributed. How did they beat Solaris again? Superman Prime used what, a GL Ring from the past planted by who? Sh*t, let alone X Men comics where people are given spare uniforms. It's common sense that a TEAM would use everything at their disposal and within their capacity to win a competition. Sure, Cyke can't lone someone his optic blast, but Batman could hand Canary a batarang or some smoke pellets, and with an hour of prep, give her a spare utility belt and knowledge of the implements.
As for the rules:

I wasn't referring directly to the telepathy being violent or non violent, or in actuality, hostile, due to subverting one's free will or violating the privacy of their mind without permission (Lady herself stated putting them to sleep non-violently was still hostile and would account as a dq, yet mind control wouldn't. If it was just telepathy used for persuasion you could use your mouth and not need telepathy), I was referring to everything else.
All that was stated at the beginning of this event was that the groups split into 2 teams; one combat, one crowd control; and that the crowd control must disperse the riot "non-violently" (which has now been shown to be open to intepretation), and that there was one hour of preptime. Then after the initial strategies were already posted, Lady changed the stipulation so that the teams shake hands before the fight, and combat began upon the handshake, which nullified both strategies (and we were penalized for submitting our initial strategy late even though she nullified it with this new stipulation anyway). It wasn't stipulated that teammates could not share tech until after it became known that the Punisher was wearing Black Panther armor and Lady made the ruling on page 19, not before the event. Just as the handshake and setting of the battle, as well as whether the rioting took place at the same location as the battle or not. Non of that was stated before the event started.
That's what I'm talking about. All the rules, stipulations, and other variables like location, layout of said location, presence of civilians, etc. should be stated before the event begins, that's all. In football you don't the rules don't change so that all of a sudden pass interference and offsides are allowed, shotgun formations are not allowed, and you have to play in a swimming pool while the games already into the 2nd quarter.
yeah........ the handshake thing threw us all off i think......... and, at the start, i was working under the impression that the riot was because of the fight.....
i do agree with the non-lending of equipment...... if we do that then everyone on each team become less and less unique and it's just like 5 clones fighting 5 other clones

i would say telepathy, of the type we would have been using, would be closer related to an invasion of privacy than an assault or "mind rape"
i restated the rules about non-violence initially as a few of your teams tactics for crowd control had your team being violent to other members of your team
