Now.
Let's talk about Star Wars, maybe bury this blemish on this thread.

I love Star Wars.

Liked Star Trek: Next generation to though. 131

I'm a huge fan of both.

Dude, who would win in a fight, Worf of Chewbacca? Keep in mind Worf has a batliff, but Chewbacca is pissed off.

I like SW alot more. Think they would win too, but not too knowledgable on ST to be honest.

Gotta go with Worf.

The man just.. can't be stopped. It'd be awesome to see though.

Jaxx, man. You gotta watch more Next Gen. It's a pretty damn good show. I think I like it more, because there is SO much more to watch than Star Wars.

Yeah, I'd go with Worf too, mostly because Worf is always pissed off.

They should have a Celebrity Death Match type of show with all these matchups. Worf v. Chewbacca. Captain Kirk v. Han Solo.

I'd watch it.

I implore you to go back and read that whole "conversation." Starting with the "asstard" post.

It's really pretty funny. I won't deny it was immature of me to toggle with yer gullivers like I did, O my brothers, It was just a malenky bit of fun.

Don't you love it when someone fails so miserably and then tries to turn around and make you feel like the only reason you think they failed is because you failed almost as much as they actually did?

I'm tired now.

Peace people.

I haven't finished yet.

Peace, Blax.

Is anyone interested in continuing this debate just a hair longer? (I just happened across it and I know a few things, so I could help in Star Trek's defense.) 🙂

I do like both however so don't get me wrong. It's just a nice friendly debate if anyone would like to take me up on it.

1. Star Wars is an epic win.
2. Star trek is an epic fail.

Please state your reasons for this. (And no, I will not go back and read every post written on this thread.)

he just hates star trek...lol

he just hates star trek...lol

I can relate....... (with him).

Anyway, Star Trek wins becuase they have deities like Q etc that can just solo the field. Without these godlike figures, however, Trek would fall easily to a combination of Sidious' fleet destroying powers and Nihilus' planet killing powers. If things get really desparate the Naga Sadow can just blow up a sun ( Supernova>Everything).

Star Trek ships easily outrace Supernova's. It's been seen several times during the seasons. Those don't matter, Warp 1 gets any Vessel to safety.

I can understand Force Storm as being dangerous. However, ships in Star Trek can fight while at speeds up to Warp 9.99. There is no sensor that can track Star Trek vessels going at these speeds. Not only that, but a constitution class starship can fire from more than twice the distance of that of an Imperial Star Destroyer. It has been calculated that at full impulse it would take a mere second to travel from the Earth to the Moon. (That is frickin' moving compared to any Star Wars craft I've seen.)

Also in Star Trek, a Galaxy class can drill to the core of a planet with a phaser. (Thus destroying the planet)

It has been stated in The Return that the Borg have like a million vessels (It might even say "millions". On the Borg home planet alone there was 50 trillion drones.) (If I recall correctly.) There are many races that Star Wars would have to face including but not limited to:
Federation, Klingons, Romulans, Dominion, Breen, Lyrans, Hydrans, Gorn, Remons, (Alternate Universe), Doomsday device, (and creators of it), and that friggen tough race that one Douwd destroyed. That's about as many as I can think off off the top of my head.

There are many super weapons though. And one thing that Star Wars would have to go against is Phase Cloaking. (Oh, and Supernova's/Sun's don't worry Star Trek, as there is a shield that can withstand the heat/radiation.)

And all Borg ships can fuse... So if you think about it a million+ Borg cubes/other types fusing into a singular ship... The Death Star can seem somewhat small...

God, I'd love to see a ship that large.

💃

Taking away Q, the only real challenge Star Wars faces is the Borg.

A Death Star could easily destroy a cube, or for that matter a LOT of cubes, but nowhere near all of them at once. My personal question is, could the Borg adapt to that magnitude of energy output? And if so, for how long, and how many of them would adapt (ALL the Borg EVERYWHERE, or just in the vicinity)?

If the Empire was smart, they'd save a Death Star shot or a Sun Crusher torpedo to take out this purported home world of 50 trillion drones.

And as the Borg minds are a collective, it's certainly feasible that someone as strong as say... Palpatine could f*ck with it.

Oh and as for that whole "beaming aboard and assimilating the Death Star personnel:" sacrifice a sector of the station, learn the Borg mentality of how they don't attack unless provoked, and jettison the sector into space and blow it. This is of course assuming no Force-wielder is aboard, as they're understanding and power of such a base and simple-minded creature as a Borg drone would give them a very big advantage. Plus lightsabers never hurt.
