Yes you can, because Nihilus has specific ways that he can be defeated. His technique was a direct result of the Exile being a wound in the force, and of Malachor V. Not to mention it was a technique that was created by the ancient sith.

Your point being?
Not to mention it was a technique that was created by the ancient sith.
It's not the technique alone that makes him powerful. Remember, this was a guy who was able to drain an entire force sensitive race and hundreds of jedi at once. Sure, the ancients might have originally discovered or created the technique, but there's no proof they had that kind of raw power.

Well lets see, Sidious did the exact same thing, and he learned it from the ancients. And what Nihilus did wasn't really considered a force ability. What he was, was a force eating being. Meaning he just was.
Gee like become a wound in the force,
Elaborate, I'm not seeing your point here.
or loop in and out of the force. A technique Luke and a lot of the NJO know..

I'm not disputing that the Ancients knew the technique, I just see no proof that they would be able to perform it on the same scale.

And your reasoning behind this is? Why would it not be considered a force ability? I'm kinda sketchy on my KotOR knowledge, so could you elaborate on what you're saying, because I've only ever heard this stuff from the older members who used to post here, and IIRC it was mostly speculation with no real backing.
He states it under the comments in his 'Meet the people' blog.

Wow - thanks, everyone! Great to see such a warm welcome. Just thought I'd pop in so you all know I'm still around.I'll be back in a week or two with an actual blog, as promised. Things are just a little hectic right now. (Stupid real life! Always getting in the way!)
One last thing before I go:
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there are currently NO plans for KOTOR 3. At least none that I'm aware of. Right now. But there's always hope...

Pre-CU means "Pre-Combat Upgrade" -- the Combat Upgrade happened in April of 2005 I believe. Basically, they changed the entire game and drove many veteran players away from the game we all loved. They made it even worse just over a year ago (November 2005) when they changed the system again! Anyways, Pre-CU is basically the game you played when you were playing 🙂
