Pre-CU means "Pre-Combat Upgrade" -- the Combat Upgrade happened in April of 2005 I believe. Basically, they changed the entire game and drove many veteran players away from the game we all loved. They made it even worse just over a year ago (November 2005) when they changed the system again! Anyways, Pre-CU is basically the game you played when you were playing 🙂

aha i see, well i loved the old one, i was actully just thinking about picking swg up again but if they ruined the game im not sure i wanna get all the expansions etc, how did they change the combat system?

Just tried the 14 day trail, gheez they really ruined the entire game, and as for beeing able to choose jedi from start, that just sucks to >_<, give emu 🙂

ive read on so many forums that revan is he, he is not, he is a man, and in the second game u meet up with bastilla and carth if u do some side quests, and bastilla wants to know if you have seen him because she misses him and wants to know what he's doing and why he left her, that doesnt sound like he's evil to me, especially since he's going to fight the true sith

thats true but even top secret stuff leaks out like the terrist prsions and other stuff like the abuse and hummiliation that is way more top secret than a game but it got out so what do you think?

I think you misinterpreted my statement. I was responding to the guy who posted regarding there "not being any plans for KOTOR 3 according to Drew" and was simply saying that I couldn't find Drew's quote. I actually agree with you tmac 🙂

I Only have 1 comment to make about Kotor 3, that is that inevitably with every kotor game you will have to 1. Kill alot of people, which will always make sure that people (Jedi Masters) portray you as evil for all the death you have made just to make yourself stronger and 2. YOU WILL HAVE TO BE THE MAIN CHARACTER; there is no possible way to make a game with you running security which leads me to conclude that you will either be Revan, or you will be Bastila leading the republic in his abscence, or you will be a Newbie jedi who is going to be Revan's bich, like bastila................. but if you add these 2 things together, Kotor 3 might be set in a Rebuilt Republic stage, where you are a Child Jedi who is trained, then becomes a diplomat of sorts, who is attacked, and fights back, is noticed and starts a war that destroys a planet (ie. Dantooine in Kotor 1 AND 2) YOU WILL BECOME THE NEW LORD OF THE SITH MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHA (possibly destroy other world Malak style)

it'd be interesting if you could make the go good or evil choice early and then play that way the whole time....like sep branches at first fork in the road sort of deal

there better be, and most likely you will be revan or have revan in your party, as well as the exhile and bastilla, carth and some of the other favourites, kind of like an all-star team to go fight the true sith, and you will probably destroy them, but you will not destroy all sith, maybe its finally time for there to be few sith left instead of there always being a few jedi left, i dont know, just a thought

i just remembered, i was recently at a college tour as part of school, and i went to a game design session where someone who was working for a major game company came to speak. I forget his name, but he works for BIOWARE. He talked about Mass Effect, Dragon Age and mentioned a game that they were working on, one that was going to be very popular and a big surprise, could he have been talking about KOTOR 3? im not sure, he didn't hint much at the game and decided to tease us by telling us about this special game, then drawing attention back to Mass Effect, so the question is raised, is there a chance that BIOWARE is making KOTOR 3? maybe 😄

its a posablility theres no dout they are going to continue because of the ending in the second all those qestions unanswered like wheres revan or something

Ya, I think they just recently announced this game in a magazine article. It's going to be an MMO -- supposedly superior to anything we've ever seen 🙂
