Oh d*mn! I just came up with an idea. Acclaim has this project going on titled: Top Secret. It's where a bunch of ordinary people work as developers to make their own game and I was just thinkin...maybe they're doing it...since it is top secret...well actually, the probability of that happening is pretty slim because I do believe they're just makin an original game. But perhaps...
Oh and actually another reason why it wouldn't be acclaim is because they have like 4 betas for 4 different mmorpgs and are trying to release them. So probably not.
Well that's surely the most annoying way of posting it...
I don't know if anyone has said this yet since I don't really want to read 75 pages, but I am pretty sure they are and that it will include the True Sith. I take it the True Sith live in the Dark Side of the Galaxy, since that is what Kreia says at the end of KotOR 2. Why would they not make 3? 1 and 2 were huge successes and 3 is probably going to be next-gen.
Indeed, although, in my belief, it is likely that production has not even begun on KOTOR 3. I believe this because the Bioware team that WAS developing KOTOR 3 was cut, RIGHT after the first previews of Mass Effect, I believe. This could very possibly mean that KOTOR 3 will use the Mass Effect engine. As for the storyline, lets leave that to the professionals. A second thing to note is that IF TSLRP succeeds and the alternate endings ARE added on, then a possibly altered storyline may have to be created for KOTOR 3. There is no doubt in my mind that it could be in production secretly, or maybe a new story is currently being written, I have no way of knowing.
To sum up the last 75 pages of this... blah blah blah, we want to be Revan, we want the exile, b1tch b1tch whine whine, lets talk about TSLRP and Mass Effect, b1tch more whine more, blah blah. KOTOR 3 is not currently in production.
On a happier note, Mass Effect will pwn us all. Raise of hands, who would really have liked to hold Kreia up against a wall when she was disrespectful, or hold a blaster to a Bartenders head?? Mass Effect will let you do this.
Go have sex, Get a Life, KOTOR 3 wont be around for another year. Cheers!
TSLRP is going to be an OFFICIAL release, because it is stuff made by Obsidian (and therefore owned by LucasArts) and it is only pieced together by a fan group, then it will just be given to Obsidian, and most likely released through the Updater. IF this happens, it will be the next producers obligation to the fans to make all the games make sense.
JEEZ!!! THE STORYLINE WASN'T BAD!!! I LOVED IT!!! the ending just sucked, really, really, really bad suckin. TSLRP will hopefully pull through, and save K2. And I do love the combat on Jade Empire, but Mass Effect's Engine will be more like Ghost Recon from Third Person ( kinda like Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2, if you have played them).
I actually loved KOTOR 2's storyline (besides Kreia being a manipulative shitface). If you think about it, the Exile may have had a larger effect on the Universe than Revan himself. Think about it, the Exile (if lightside) protected the Republic and saved it from the Sith and helped those key worlds develop. I think the ending could have been something better.
hmmmm... let me think.... who died....... Kreia (no one cares though 😉 ), G0-T0, Remote, Atris, Jedi Masters, Sith Lords, and about 10,000 other random people that were just killed cuz i wanted to.
Those really arent main characters. Main characters are like Bastila, Revan, the Exile, Handmaiden, Carth... etc.
Maybe you played it DS and the end game didnt show the Ebon Hawk leaving and Malachor V blowing up. Lightside you left in a severely owned Ebon Hawk and Remote set off the Mass Shadow Generator or whatever.
It sucked that the ship went down in Malachor. It should never have happened. God I want to punch somebody, now, thinkin of it. That was a terrible way to end it. We NEED to see it again no matter what happens. TSLRP needs to fix that. If they dont, then I'm gonna write a complaint that they will probably just throw out.
well, what else could I do, huh?
