Understandable, and I don't take away from the fact that SS was able to control it AFTER Kyle gave it to him.
He still couldn't do it on his own.

Avon note few things.
1.) SS never tried to absorb the Oan energy ( out of thanos and Parralax)
2.) SS says he can't absorb the energy because his own energy is drained. ( as i posted)
3.) Kyle tries to absorb the energy......... but the energy is to much for him. ( note SS is weak at this point......... but he still think he can absorb and control Oan energy)

Actually it is lopsided. Superman and Wonder Woman together can beat the tar out of Thor. Both of them are faster and as strong as he is. WW isn't going to be vulnerable to Thor's Magic. If you add in MM to the mix the three of them are going to play kick ball with thor. While the GL's and Flash Steal Surfers Speed, and then use awesome Cosmic Energy to pummel the surfer. Let's not forget that Oan energy is cosmic. It can do more than Surfer can. They are gonna peal surfer out of his tin can suit after a long fought battle.

My mistake, friend. I thought you were saying that either Superman or Wonder Woman could SOLO Thor with ease, rather than saying that the combined might would take Thor with ease.
Regardless, assuming the Surfer is fighting to the best of his ability, Superman and the Green Lanterns hardly pertain to this fight, as they are taken out in the first millionth of a nano-second.
The only thing I'm UNSURE of, is whether the Surfer could take Flash and the Manhunter simultaneously, whilst Thor deals with Diana. There are threads debating him taking them one on one, but not one on two.
THAT is where, I feel, the Surfer would lose.
Still isn't too lopsided, considering that Thor and Surfer would have taken out Superman, Wonder Woman, and two green lanterns before they are beaten by the Flash, and Martian Manhunter. While Batman gets all the credit for it. 😖hifty:

Batman batkicks thor, then sends omacs after surfer to dissect him. All while superman is cheating on lois with Wonderwoman. Flash keeps running into the room to sneak a peak. Martian Manhunter and Aquaman telepathically watches from afar. And Hawkgirl flies overhead waiting for her turn.
Well, I know pre-crisis Supes could solo that marvel team. Flash is indeed faster than Silver Surfer....that is Flash's thing..SPEED. Earlier, it was mentioned that Supes' can't travel at light speeds. How in the hell does he get around the universe then? He's been to the Source Wall before...and that is in a very remote galaxy...far from the Milky Way. Even traveling at just light speed...it would take billions of years to get to the Source Wall...yet, Superman somehow does it..lol.
The JLA has bested Darkseid...and Darkseid himself could solo Thor and SS on his own..with ease....and i'm talking about Darkseid the way he should be written.

Whats stopping these two from absorbing any energy put out by the GL's? Thor has absorbed a blast that would have destroyed a 5th of the universe, and there has never been a limit to what types of energy he can absorb. I shouldn't even have to describe the way the Surfer toys with energy.
Yes Supes defeated Thor in a pis filled comic which I not sure is even considered cannon in the MU. 🙄

Whats stopping Thor or Surfer from taking the speed of the Flash? Both characters can absorb and redirect energy at a whim, so whats stopping them from stealing the kinetic energy of the Flash? no reason why they shouldn't be able to. It has been shown however that the Flash can't steal the speed of gods, and well thats just what Thor is 😉
