ONE GL can battle Silver Surfer for hours. Kyle Did it in the cross over. SIlver surfer was fatigued at the end of the battle. Superman and WW on thor is over kill. And The two best Gl's ever is too much even for the surfer. Flash and MM would tip the scales tremendously in favor of the jla.

Yes. Hulk has done it, others have done it with physical force.

I don't recall the Hulk ever knocking him out. 😕

I remember the Hulk knocking him away once or twice, but not out. There is a far cry of difference. If I could see some scans, I'd reconsider, but otherwise, Superman isn't gonna be one-shotting the Surfer.

As to your second point, sure, the Lanterns may be able to absorb the energy cosmic, just as Surfer can absorb the energy Oan, but who can do it faster? They've both been shown to absorb near-limitless amounts of energy, but who can do it with more expedience?

The Surfer's reflexes are a hell of a lot faster than Hal's or Kyle's.

Also, those 'rhetorical' questions I asked, weren't entirely rhetorical. I was honestly asking them of you, and answers would be much appreciated.

Plenty of strange things happen when combatants don't use their abilities to their fullest. Luckily, we get to ignore that on these forums. The Surfer is far faster than either of the Green Lantern's, and can absorb and control Oan energy. They're outta the fight.

Are you serious? OMG. WW blocked the OMEGA EFFECT by putting up her SHield of AEGIS. Nothing in the know universe has ever broken her shield. Superman Has taken punches from beings like The anti monitor. THe GL's can pretty much shield them selves from Telepathy, magic, and cosmic energy. HEll kyle was even able to affect angelic matter. Give me a break they can't match or survive my ass. that is a load of bullshit. The Flash can step outside of space into hyperspace and pick thor apart molecule by molecule.

nothing Thor or Surfer can put out can match that.

Thor can physically bust through his shields but Thor's energy attack's are far more powerful than his physical attacks.

It's perfectly comparable. Why didn't Gladiator destroy Wolverine, or Firelord destroy Spiderman? Because they didn't use the abilities they had at their disposal.

GL's shields have held up to far more than Thor or Surfer can dish out on many occasions. That was the point.

Surfer doesn't have the speed advantage over GL's or Superman. Even if he did, Flash can share the speedforce, then Surfer is at a disadvantage due to Flash's greater control over time and speed. Flash's speed feats >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Surfer's.
And in comabat speed, most of the team trumps Surfer. It's his point A to point B that's fast, but even Supes can do that faster than him, given it was shown he can move so fast he instant teleports across the universe by creating a boom tube.

How can he possibly take Hal and Kyle alone? Hal would be a good match for Surfer by himself. You know it's funny that KMC personifies a version of Silver Surfer that doesn't even exist. The ring can do ANYTHING the Power Cosmic can do, and then some. The ring could absorb the Power Cosmic right out of Silver Surfer if it wanted to. Not to mention Kyle once flew from one end of the universe to the other in under a day. As it stands ( 🙄 ) Silver Surfer has absolutely no shot in hell, and you're coming dangerously close to saying that SS could take the JLA solo, in which case I would laugh my ass off. Thor gets smacked down like a hillbilly on his wife, while Kyle and Hal humble Surfer. 'Nuff said.

Why is it that anyone who is arguing for Thor and Silver Surfer are mentioning all the things that They can do like saying silly shit like Lighting covering the planet, but discounting the things that Each of the JLa members has done.

Superman is the mightiest of all the earthbound Dc heroes in strength and Invulnerability. PERIOD.

WW is Equal to supers in almost every catagory and has magical weapons that can kill thor or Surfer and a force field that neither of them can break.

MM has a gabillion powers and complete control over his molecules.

GL's can do ANYTHING the wearer wills them to do. Anything surfer or Thor can do, a GL has been shown doing or can do.

Flash has the power of an entire dimension behind him. Surfer isn't going to be stealing wallies speed.

Surfer has an ENORMOUS speed advantage over the JLA, minus the Flash.

And I still don't understand why you keep bringing up Bart. I do believe I have stated time and time again, I'm not going to debate against the Plot Device of the speed force.

Without him? Yeah, the Surfer could go head to head with the JLA.

Blocking a single energy blast is very different from blocking hundreds of jagged bolts of lightning coming at you from everywhere. You're right, the shield wont break, but for WW, there's nowhere to run or hide. She dies.
