Silver Surfer & Thor vs JLA

You see the probably is Superman Blue was made to crack Imperiex's armor. Kismet in her less abstract form amped Superman for that purpose. Don't think just anything is capable of hurting and defeating Imperiex because that isn't true. Since you obviously favor Marvel compare Superman blue > Imperiex's armor to Drax's fist >Thanos chest if that helps. I don't remember Superman having trouble blocking Thors hammer like it was a toy. The point is for as many low showings you can muster out of your head i think i can counter them and prove how biased your statements are.

2nd; you really dont get what Im trying to tell you do you. I know that superman uses his speed but his COMBAT speed isnt all that great to stop a character from hitting him. Yes, he flies at you real fast and punches you with mutiple of hits but his body is always open and thats how sharpnel, titus, solomon grundy, cheetah, mongul, lobo, orion, batman, kalibak, mongul daughter, imperex probes, etc... has tagged him.

You ever think that it might be because some of those people are incredibly durable?
Don't know about Shrapnel fights. Titus has good reflexes (not to mention he f*cking cheapshotted Superman). He was using speed against Grundy? Cheetah has superspeed. Mongul has superfast punches (and he's not really able to hit Superman anyway... unless you're talking about the big one... and well, Superman has seemingly fought a lot better since he was trained by child Mongul). Lobo is a fast fighter... and they haven't really fought since Superman was trained by Mongul. He was going toe to toe with Orion, and Orion has good reflexes, and is a great fighter. He holds back against Batman (he's taken Batman out of the battlefield before he knew what was going on). He BFF*ckingR'ed Kalibak in the last fight (however, K had Scott Free things). Kalibak also apparently has some fast reflexes judging by the last fight (Plus, in the last fight, he fought two people at once). Mongul daughter?

The Imperiex Probe was shooting blasts... and Omni directional blasts. 😐

My statement arent biased due to the fact that I read more superman comics then almost any comic out there (besides jla), I work/own a comic store. Im not trying to argue with you, I just want you to show me where you are getting your answers. I know about superman blue and I have the book on where she sacrificed herself to give superman the power. I dont favor marvel, I favor both. I know that superman can get some wins over thor, I just give thor the majority. I know that superman possess speed but not the way that you think. I also know that dc hype him up to be on levels that he just aint. I give superman wins over characters due to him being the greates hero on the planet and having great will power, I dont give him wins due to his power because there are many out there that equal him in power or surpass him and thor is one of them, along with the surfer.

Blue superman has shown to be the greatest and strongest and more powerful superman there has been, I even think that he had more power then precrisis superman but I still dont think that if imperex was as powerful as he was suppose to be, that even blue sups should have dented him.

I also like how you use crossovers, well since you did that, maybe I can use venom beating the hell out of superman and superman saying that venom is the strongest villian that he has ever fought or iron man blasting superman in the chest almost koing him.

The encounter that Im talking about with imperex is when he crashed landed in smallville and destroyed half of the landscape.

OMG, I know that some of the people that I have named have great durability and I know that some have good reflexes BUT what Im trying to get you to understand is that, IF superman has all of this fast combat speed that you all are bringing up, why do the comic writers pit him against people that he can run circles arounds. Hell if he had the speed that you all are stating, he should run circles even around darkseid, darkseid blast shouldnt connect not once. The writers know that each and everyone of these brutes that is pitted against superman has a chance of winning due to the fact that superman dont have dragonball z combat speed.

If that wasnt he case, why wouldnt they just pit batman in a brawl against a regular him since they have the same stats, they dont, they pit batman against fighters of extreme proportions due to him being a fighter. Superman is a brute fighter and he fights brutes. Half of his arch enemy files isnt nothing but brutes. Half of batman arch files isnt nothing but martial artist. Half of wolverines arch enemies isnt nothing but fighters with claws. Half of spiderman arch enemies isnt nothing but characters with fast reflexes and agility and strength.

There enemies is based on the type of characters they are.

Well I guess thanos is a chump then because that one showing is being used against him on the forum. You might be right. the armor might was the tool to be used against imperex. I might have learned something today but Im going to read the book again just to make sure. 🙂

I dont get what you are talking about. I know that superman has great reflexes but the characters that he fights are on the level of hulk, some of them I can actually see hulk stomping into the ground.

Not trying to make you mad slippyfist but can you explain a little more on what you are talking about when you said reflexes.

Well considering the fight is NONCANON and therefore unusable, it would be pretty silly for me to do that, now wouldn't it?

Not a bad showing for surfer due to the fact that karnak knows and can see every weak point in your body and used that against the surfer. By the way the only time I bring up the venom and superman fight is when people bring up the thor and superman fight. I could also bring up jean grey stalemating superman in the xmen/jla crossover but I dont because crossover is written to make the most popular character win. There aint no way in hell they would let thor beat superman, alone with any other marvel character. Hell if they did a superman/galactus crossover, superman would literally rape galactus and all of his heralds together IN A COMIC.

I get it now, but it was stated that during war hulk, his durability, reflexes, strength and fighting ability was all increased to extreme levels. So I do consider him comparable and above some that was named. Majority of the people that I named on that list I can see War hulk stomping into the ground. By the way, where are you getting all this info on these brutes having speed. I know your not getting it from dc encyclopedia because many of them dont have speed or superhuman reflexes mentioned under there bio.
