Im not going to down you for giving me this, even though i own most of these comics but Im going to say thanks. Batman recently fought a superman that was controled by darkseid, a none holding back superman and stalemated him.

I just spoke with you about the jla classified with titus one shotting superman and he showed flight speed (superman) and titus showed no speed. Cheetah possess speed also but not the speed that you all depict of superman and she fought superman before being trained by zoom on how to get speed. Kalibak isnt nothing but a brute fighter that havent displayed any kind of speed even during his upgrades. Now mongul, yes he has great speed but havent done anything impressive to even make me think that he has more speed then even spiderman.

Now I would like to leave you all with something and it was great debating with you all today, will see you tomorrow and when you see this battle come back on top of the list, you know that its me.

As Desaad said, that Superman had no mind, and nothing but static in his head. Desaad even went on to tell Darkseid that the Superman he fought against is dead. In the next page, Batman stated that Superman was slower than usual, Desaad’s treatment had dulled him. Yet Superman was still about to kill Batman, until Orion’s wife showed up. Batman didn’t stalemate him. So either you lied, or you haven't really read the comic.

It obvious you didn't read this comic.

If she possesses more speed than Hulk by far, then this is irrelevant.

He surprised Superman with his speed, and you also ignored how Superman easily BFR'ed him.

Read the issue then. Plus, Superman was toying with him. 🙂

Oh ya... like that's going to prove anything. 🙄
Although, I like how they said that superspeed was going to help Superman in that fight... heh.

The fight with Titus also took place years ago. It seemed like Superman was Pre-DOS and Jordan was Pre-Parallax.

So youre using titus catching flash as a speed feat. Well I guess wolverine can move as fast as sound since he caught speed demon and jumped in front of him with a albow to the face. Or since he hit a spinning speed demon with a piece of stone while spinning in a circle. Wolverine also tagged a moving quicksilver. You cant use the excuse that flash fight at the speed of light all the time since it is a rare speed feat that he does. I guess deathstroke also move as fast as the flash since he did stab flash before. Bad example.

By the way, it wasnt a cheap shot that titus did against superman, superman attacked him and he attacked back. Superman should have been ready for that attack. Now what excuse do you all have for what recently happened to wonderwoman and sueprman by the mystery villian on the jla tower by the rock guy with gold fist.

That is what it seems like but its not a fact and its not something that either me or you could prove.

everyone fights to their max and they won't get any wins at all. jla individual feats are too extensive and are more than a match for whatever thor and ss have done. don't believe it? name what you believe to be the highest feat performed by thor and ss individually, and compare to gl, flash, superman, etc . . .

so, what do you feel is the ss' trumping feat?

When this thread was done it wasnt current versions.

Current Thor with Odin force & Annihilation Surfer ermmnone

thor doesn't currently have the odin power, does he? and though it was said ss was upgraded in annhilation, his old-school feats are outweigh (and are more impressive) than his recent ones. beating tenebrous and aegis via the plot device wave was cool, but he has better feats that are a lot older.

the point is moot -- we ARE using them at their classic levels, just as when the thread began. certainly thor with the odin power is not to be considered for this thread.

the silver surfer trump feat recently is in annihilation fighting a being (forgot his name) and he ask him is ready for him to stop holding back. When he said that silver surfer blew up the entire planet and the moons around it just by increasing his energy.

The highest showing for thor is defeating the destroyer, a being of destruction that is created as being god killer and a being that puts odin in fear and thor one shotted it and took the destroyers most powerful blast to the chest.

Yeah I agree that the classic versions would lose more than not. (but not without casualties 131 ).
But you said "everyone fights to their max". That would include surfers and thors current selves.
But since it wasnt stated by the thread started my point is moot. ermmfrown

The thread is essentially the two best Green Lanterns vs Silver Surfer, and Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash and Martian Manhunter vs Thor.

Batman dies.

But anyone thinking Thor and SS can win at all is seriously deluding themselves.

At least give team Thor/SS Classic Strange.....

umm, you'll need to do a little better than that . . .

and do you mean the asgardian destroyer? the destroyer has wrecked thor countless times in the past. again, we are NOT giving thor the odin power. these are classic levels of all characters.

ss and thor have no shot. (though i'll give you batman's death. 😄 )

Hal wasn’t with the League Post-DOS, so it had to have taken place Pre-DOS. And in the comic itself Martian Manhunter says the story took place ten years ago. Not to mention, that most of the recent JLA classified stories take place in the past.
