imho considering current laws, i feel the first priority should be "are the laws acceptable". the reason it goes unsolved is all the wasted energy put toward legalization. first lets stop needlessly destroying lives, then lets debate whether or not it should be permitted.
The only reason it was made illegal was because the Pharmasutical (cant spell) companys got angry because people were using Marijuana instead of thier drugs for their ailments. So the B***hed to high ups and it became illegal.
I think it should be legal again. But if they care so much then put an age limit on it.

Marijuana became against FEDERAL law in 1937 as a result of lobbying by the liquor industry which feared a cheap intoxicant as competition for it's product. Propaganda films such as Reefer Madness fueled public hysteria.
Why is it still illegal? Several reasons probably. Fighting it (and other drugs too) is just as big a business as selling it. Perception that it leads to the drug culture. Ignorance in general.

Yeah they should legalise it, so dealers, aware of official competition, stop trying to sell us three-gram eighths. 😛
I smoke pot everyday, more so on weekends, of course it should be legal. I find it really rediculous that its still illegal. So many people out there think that this is such a dangerous drug, mainly the older generation.

Ainslinger and anti-Mexican racism had more of a role than the liquor industry (which was largely under assault from puritan segments of society as well) in marijuana prohibition.
Hell, in many ways, the "hash" industry was much larger than the booze industry prior to prohibition.

the BOMBS go for like 35, 40 at the most for 1/8.
25 is normal for just some normal fish.

Evidence?
I'm looking for product volume, money, and "employees" involved in getting end product into the consumer's hands.
I ask because I don't think what you said was correct OR what you said has no evidence.
Do not misinterpret my post as agressive because both you and I are on the same side here. I just don't want to be caught off guard when I say that the alcohol industry threw their weight around. The more factual knowledge I have, the better case I can make for MJ legalization.
