*Magneto can manipulate forms of energy even outside of the electromagnetic spectrum -- and does so by taking control of Proteus's body and modifying his energy matrix.
"Energy, Proteus. Just electrons dancing."

Also Parasite had the ability to tap in to the earths electromagnetic sphere and was draining Superman and he didn't do jack.

Because that works so well for those who do it in the DC universe. eyeroll
Actually it does. Parasite and red krptonite worked just fine on Supes.
Originally posted by illadelph12well, if mags knows superman's red sun weakness, then I think based on their character....(ie superman wouldn't blitz right off the bat)...I think Magneto would win majority
Don't forum rules specify that both sides of the fight get the knowledge of their opponent's respective homeworld?

yes... what do you have in mind?
How he just automagically knows its frequency particle type wave length and the like is beyond me.
Oh right because he can analyze a non-flesh and blood energy being in front of him he'll automatically beable to produce it automagically.
Well, given that Supes gave Lois an interview in which he explained how his powers work via sunlight and his Kryptonian ancestry (though not extremely in depth), and that the supervillain community of DC Earth knows about kryptonite and red sunlight, it's not a stretch to think Magneto would know his powers were energy based and to modulate them like he did Proteus as a high priority attack.

it would be insulting to Magneto to say that he wouldn't understand how to exploit it
shutting down superman's solar mechanism would basically be fingerpainting by numbers for Magneto
Magneto wins

*sigh* You really need to read the issues in both circumstances Supes ****ed.

Exactly.

Supes entire body and powerset is based of an em field his body generates. I'm sure Magneto can analyze that.

Yes, I'm talking about you. Would you like me to take this step by step, or can you figure out the idiocy of what you said by yourself?
But sure, go step by step and show me where I'm wrong.
