how closely is child porn regulated though... alot of it is still out there on the black market.

They really can't do that much as long as the sellers are in other country's... You sometimes hear a large international childporn syndacite has been picked up, but with the numbers they provide it hardly strikes me as large... And seeing as a lot of the child porn comes from country's where the goverment won't act against it, there really is very little that can be done against childporn

I've come across it accidentally before now.... I was searching for Scout websites (to steal ideas for troop nights, mainly!!) and some of the sites just look so innocuous... to read the names you'd never know.... I reported them to our Scout HQ....

^ I don't know (about the grammar), either. Posters seem to be more erratic now for some reason.

the only things i worry about are the fact that not enough governments take sufficient action to stop this...

in ireland there have been several cases where people had thousands of these images and were simply fined (one was a celebrity who simply paid it off easily). Something needs to be done...

Had I not posted the definition, there would be no evidence that he is incorrect, and it would appear as if it is nothing more than my opinion.

Perhaps if you provided evidence for your arguments instead of simply stating your opinions, you would not experience the frustration you describe in the Psychology on KMC thread.

Moreover, if I was unable to correct him without the use of a dictionary, I would not have been able to recognize his mistake in the first place.

You do not see the difference between "regulating" and "monitoring" child pornography? Someone with a grasp of the English language should know the difference.

sometimes kmc posters do seem to be hysterical about other ppl's grammar, yes.
but I'm with Adam on this one regulating was inappropriate

What happened to monogamy, people? You find a nice group of reliable pornsites and you stick with them. Then you don't run that high of a risk of accidentally walking into a kiddy porn site.

I guess back in my day it was a simpler time.

This is trivial, back to discussing kiddie porn.

I don't like child pornography or the idea of it, that much is obvious.

However, would you NOT say it's better for males or females with attractions to children to watch it on the net as opposed to going out and kidnapping some kid?

Happened with Pete Townshend of The Who.

There was child porn found on his comp and everyone, as they have a habit of doing, branded him a paedophile.

From the start I thought, so? So the guy whacks off to kids. Not my cup of tea, can't say I condone the making of child porn....but all the guy did was whack off to porn. He's not molesting or kidnapping kids.

I'd much rather have a man or woman watch two kids committing or carrying out sexual acts on the net, masturbate and then have it out of their system. As opposed to it being bottled up and then having them going out to kidnap a child.

Same as how I'd rather have a manic aggressive nutjob watch a movie of humans getting raped and slaughter if it helps get it out of his or her system and prevents him or her going out and doing it.
