Anyway Anakin in RotS wasn`t powerful enouh to seriously threaten someone like Yoda, our little green friend massacers him.

Yoda is on another level quite simply. The only thing that would put Anakin close is defeating Dooku. Personally I don`t see him replicating that feat without Sidious nearby, not to mention Dooku had been instructed to loose and thought he only would be taken prisoner. It doesn`t take a genius to see that this fight is exactly the same as Luke vs Vader at the end of RotJ. Luke with his horrible lack of training had no business defeating Vader, Vader who at that time would probably be around Dooku`s level IMO .

Lucas`s commentary in RotS indicates that Obiwan and Anakin is a close match, but Obi is more experienced while Ani has more power. Dooku throws Obiwan away like a ragdoll in the fight aboard the invisible hand. He could probably do the same to Anakin if he wanted. Yoda of course is above Dooku by a good margin.

Anyway, just my take on things. For the record, I give the movies and Lucas` comments way way more weight than the expanded universe.

Yoda would wipe the floor with Kenobi, (using the force,not necessarily sabers.)

Dooku, using the force, beat Kenobi with very little effort.

Anakin was unable to defeat Kenobi.

I can't possibly see how Yoda would fare worse against Anakin than Kenobi did.

Yoda, rather handily. Anakin vs Asajj Ventress was always a rather serious fight whereas Yoda pretty much casually embarrassed Ventress, not even considering her a real threat.

Granted Anakin's skill had improved by the time of ROTS but not to the extent that he should be considered a true contender against Yoda.
