as i see yoda and sidious as the top 2 dogs of the PT. After that theres the top 5 of sidious, yoda, anakin, mace and dooku. I dnt see a top 3 tier of yoda, sidious and mace as a lot of people here seem to believe in. and thats where most my arguments on these boards have revolved around.

Now, if Gideon would just stick to the arguing points instead of hurling childish insults, then this might turn out to be a decent thread (although it has drifted somehwhat). The problem with Darth Jackass here is that he's not comprehending some significant factors (you'll note that he did not address them):
(1.) A Force push is very different from Force lightning. By its very nature, Force lightning is going to be far more damaging and far more likely to subdue an opponent than telekinesis. Compare the initial salvo of Yoda's fight with the Emperor; Palpatine knocked Yoda's ass across the room and rendered him unconscious whereas all Yoda could do is just tip Palpatine over a chair. It has nothing to do with the relative strength of the opponents, but the strength of the attacks. It's a no brainer that a gout of Force lightning is going to be more damaging than a Force push. That does not even suggest superiority over Mace.
(2.) Mace, for all of his arguable ruthlessness, is a Jedi, and a very dedicated one. Sora Bulq was a former colleague whom Mace trusted and did not initially suspect treachery. Rather like against Dooku himself, as Mace laments all throughout Shatterpoint, Windu was blinded by affection for a former friend and ally. Again, it's no wonder that Windu just didn't annihilate Bulq. Even against Palpatine, Windu initially held back -- he wanted to subdue the Chancellor, not kill him. With Dooku, it's a little bit different: he's far more willing to kill an enemy than any Jedi, which is why he has no problem unleashing more powerful assaults.
(3.) When Dooku "WTFpwned!" Ventress, he was on Vjun, where his dark side powers were enhanced (i.e. outside of the normal range of skill). There is no indication that he could replicate such a feat without being in a similar state.
All in all, Power has made no case whatsoever for Dooku. None.
