To say that EU is bullshit and GL and the movies are God is to say you shouldn't play any Star Wars games, read any books, novels, comics, or anything. Hell, don't buy shirts GL hasn't sanctioned. Don't bother yourself with versus threads if you -know- Vader and Sidious are God because Lucas commands it. Really, without being harsh to those who disagree with me (No personal disrespect intended) you really should be over in Episode III section where no one disputes Vader's badassedness. And if your mission is to convince the rest of us (The Nonbelievers_ that what Lucas says is law, than perhaps you can give us a convincing reason or two why his creations beat, say, Foster's creations, or Zahn's, or anyone else's? Oh, other than you think it is possible that such random upgrade or power would spawn to either Sid or Vader that would give them an edge we never saw present on film. Yeah. Go team logic.
thank you thank you thank you! and i have a correction for when you said anakin was in his prime when he fought ben. that wasnt not his full capabilities he def could have eventually over powered sidious with the right training and experience. butttt... noone is topping marka no one. it saddens me when i go over forums like this and im expecting to see somone say "are you kidding me this shudnt even be a question, marka and tulak would obv win", but instead i see anakin and sidous as the victors.... but i just wanna honestly tankyou for being one of the smart ones 😄 no offense to anyone else

GL is just like any other person, he thinks he made the best thing. He has the power to say things like that, and why in hells name would you make your own creation weaker? But he has no real facts to support it besides what he says. Seriously what would make Anakin more powerful? Raw potential would make him more powerful then somebody who is incredibly experienced and has seen a lot more combat?
I just don't trust GL on this, i doubt he even knows everything about the EU Or cares very much for anything star wars related that he did not create. If he could make a real argument as to why Anakin and Sidious would beat Tulak and Ragnos i might be inclined to believe him, but i very much doubt it now
