what we've been havong is a lot of reality warpers who claim to be god in some form. ie wally the god boy, and that other one you spoke of

so basically swamp thing beat jesus? some jesus DC has.

The Word certainly isnt Jesus. The Spectre calls the Word his older brother since it already existed before the wrath of God. When Jesus came, The Spectre was already in existence. He was even locked up by the Presence because it was said that the embodiment of retribution and the embodiment of forgiveness(?) cannot coexist at the same exact time.

i thought that yahweh was god, the presence was jesus...i don't know, dc deities are confusing/

The Presence is THE God, he is Yahweh, he is Jehovah, he is Allah, he is the Creator etc. I dont really know why people keep saying that he's not Yahweh and such. He IS Yahweh and NO ONE is above him, NO ONE.

The Source, The Word, and The Voice are all ASPECTS of the Presence, NOT the Presence himself. The Source didnt even say anything to Lucifer when Lucifer trespassed in his territory, in fact Lucifer completely ignored him like he was nothing, that surely states he's not the Presence. The Word is the incarnation of the first word spoken by God(the Presence) in the Beginning. And as the name suggest, The Voice is actually the Voice of God.

Now The Great Evil Beast is not an aspect of the Presence. He already existed even before the Presence himself(before there was light there was total darkness). And he/she/it is said to be the complete opposite of the Presence but is also said to be his equal in every way.

About Jesus, I dont really even know if he's still relevant in the DCU. The one and only time he made an appearance or was mentioned was about The Spectre being locked up because of blah, blah, blah(look at my previous post). But either way, he is the SON of God(the Presence) not the Presence himself.

I hope that clears things up.

Nope the Presence IS Yahweh. Best reference I can give you is the Lucifer Comic Book. When Yahweh is involve in Lucifer, Michael and other characters' discussion, they refer to Yahweh as The Presence. Michael is the only one who calls The Presence, Yahweh. So again they are the same being.

And The Great Evil Beast wasnt ripped from anybody. As I said before, it preceded anything and anyone. The First of the Fallen was the one who was ripped from Yahweh/The Presence. And The First of the Fallen is not the Great Evil Beast. The First of the Fallen was tricked MANY times by John Constantine. Thats why the First of the Fallen is uber-pissed off of Constantine and has yet to exact his revenge on him. Read the Hellblazer comics.

The Great Evil Beast isnt that weak. He/she/it was said to symbolize the end of everything. Not even Full Power Spectre can beat him. And we all know that Spectre stomps Constantine any day. The Presence didnt even beat TGEB. He convinced it to be a part of him.

The Great Evil Beast is The Presence's opposite and equal, while The First of the Fallen was ripped apart from the Presence and cast down to hell. Theyre two ENTIRELY different beings.

You know what i just realyzed doesnt SS have trouble fighting the Elders Of The Universe i mean He has trouble fighting The Gardener.....sooooo how the hell would He beat Swamp Thing.

Doubt it. The only entity who would be above the Living Tribunal would be one equal to the Presence himself.

Give me a break SS can hardly beat The Gardner and Swampthing has alot more powers then Him He would beat Him how ive said it before He could make plants grow out His ass for all we know or rip Him to peaces i dont know but Its not a dought to me anymore that Swampthing would defeate SS if SS cant even take on The Gardener
