That would kind of suck if she wasn't on it. Especially after the end of Journey's End.

Plus without her that gives us, what, just Jack, Gwen, and Ianto? One good character and two useless ones that I generally feel the need to slap. Oh joy.

She turned down Torchwood for a British remake series of Law and Order... isn't she doing another update of a past series called Survivors too?

Yes, she's signed up for Survivors (which for those who do not know, is a classic BBC quasi-sci-fi show from the 70s by the same man who created the Daleks and Blake's 7).

That's interesting. What is Survivors about?

Well, it's not really sci-fi but had some of the same sort of approach- it's a post-viral apocalypse setting and follws the attempt of some of the survivors- at first to survive, with one of them trying to fimnd her son (despite the stated fact that no two people who knew each other survived), and later to try and build a new society.

It's one of the bleakest series ever made, not only because they wipe out most of humanity in The Fourth Horseman (the first episode), including some people they made out in episode one to be main characters, but also because so much of humanity are acting like shits in the storylines.

all new monsters as far as Moffat is concerned in 2010

im not so chuffed
the new monsters havent been that great under RTD other than the clockwork robots
maybe Moffat will give us some goodies

There have been some good new monsters, though.

Clockwork Androids
Empty Child Zombies
Slitheen
Time Reapers
Cliratreen(sp?)(aka the bat monsters)
The Beast
Absorbfron(sp?)
Judoon
Leather Guards
Those shadow monsters

And so on.

I've actually enjoyed some of the new monsters.

Finally saw the final season 4 episode, and I loved it. Davros rocked more than he ever has! And it was weird at first, but Rose getting her own Doctor was a good conclusion to her story, though I hope she appears more down the line.

The Slitheen don't belong on any good monsters list.

Anyway, Doctor Who has a strong relationship with anniversaries; if we ever see Rose again it will be in 2015.

I would not class the Slitheen or the Absorboloth(spell?) as good monsters

Oh! And the Blink Angels were fantastic as well.

The Ood were good...

Nothing else really springs to mind though, however its good to see some new monsters...

I want to see an Episode with Davros in it...where he doesn't die (i watched it again on the Net-Bleach is amazing)

Slitheen were terrible, the only dangerous thing about them is that they can ruin a doctor who episode
