Then I apologize, but you just need to stop commenting. Just stop while you're behind if you don't understand it. The Daleks have had specific characters stem from the race as most. Those characters never returned for the RTD era, despite many being great for more stories. Instead, it's either ones he made or just a race itself, which many times shouldn't work and doesn't.

I've got a good idea, as interesting as it is to see you two insult/argue/debate maybe its time ya know...we just didnt argue 🙂 keep the peace, spread the love...and stuff

I love how you tell me this, and yet I've said over and over again that we need to agree to disagree.

I wasn't a fan of "End Of Time". He was. The end.

Again, making no sense- your comment about Dalek characters there is a. untrue and b. completely irrelevant to the issue at hand. I don't think anyone actually understands what you are talking about any more.

I already told you- if you don't have anything new or that makes sense to contribute, then don't post. If you keep on doing that I'll treat it as spam.

Oh well..part 2 today 😄

Just saw it...no preview for season 5 btw...and no more Dave...🙁

End of Time part 2 was awesome and quite sad at the same time.

I've liked how they've addressed the whole death thing, showing what regenerating actually means to the Doctor, as in personality death etc...

First review from Gallifrey Base: 10/10.

Second review: 0/10.

I suspect this is going to be the way it is viewed- quite the splitter...

And if you are preview hungry and in the UK...

Meanwhile, speculation on who the two Time Lords with obscured faces- presumably the ones who voted against the resolution- (one of which revealed, being the one who was aiding Wilf) is running rampant.

The Doctor's mother is one common guess for the woman. The other one we can barely see but the obscure speculation is that it is somehow Matt Smith. Work that one out.

Fantastic stuff best episode ever ! and very sad. Dr who will never be the same again David Tennant was the best dr

Well, I just saw "End Of Time Part 2", and man was that an improvement! I mean, it still had its flaws, but these flaws are far and few in between, most of them dealing more with the first part than the second. I really did enjoy this episode, and is most likely one of the best ones from season 4 onward, if not the best. I was a little unimpressed by Smith's entrance, but only because it felt like RTD was trying add in all of his catchphrases immediately. But besides that and a few too long moments, the action was great, the dialogue was fantastic, the plot was incredible beyond a point I'd expect, and overall the special effects were good, not to mention Tennant's on-the-ball performance as always.
But here's a large annoyance I had: Do all of the Masters have powers. And if the Master had all of that strength and speed, why did one hit knock him out?

Still, I give this a 4-4.5/5. Great work!

RTD didn't write Matt's lines.

This is how I'd rate the new specials.

The Next Doctor: 3.5/5 (Good, but had some issues)

Planet Of The Dead: 1.5/5 (God awful)

The Waters Of Mars: 3.5/5 (Not bad)

The End Of Time Part 1: 2/5 (Pretentious and lacking)

The End Of Time Part 2: 4.5/5 (Great rebound with everything I wanted from the new series)

It doesn't matter who did. The fact is that it felt forced.

Well, the correction still needed to be made or you were maligning the wrong person.

But fan reaction to that scene seems to be very positive anyway.

Good for them.

It still mattered in general for the thread. It was just a correction of fact that was worth pointing out.

It's a good idea to nail personality down early, especially for the general crowd.

Daleks for season 5, no spoilers needed cuz lets face it...it was obvious

No- it's just that you cannot express a point coherently. NO-ONE in here gets it because you made absolutely no sense.

Anyway, that episode was entirely mad and massive tracts of it made no sense at all, but what the hell, it was a good ride.
