Again, that example is not applicatible, The Master wasn't chopped into bit or mushed, his body underwent a complete metamorphisis.

I liken it to if a person was mutated into a frog, your genetic make up is no longer that of a human, it is of a frog, even if you somehow retian your mental capacity.

Race is determined by your genetic structure, in the movie he no longer possesed the genetic structure of a Gallifreyian, hence he was no longer one.

Whatever happened in the series wasn't the same circumstances as the movie, in the series he wasn;t out of regenerations and a pile of goop. It was a different situation.

He WAS out of regenerations in the series! Gah, do you know anything about the series? Normally people who don't know anything stay quiet rather than try and sound authoratative.

He was not a pile of goop in the series. He was on his last regeneration. It's not the same thing. and it took you 5 days to come up with that and a petty insult to go with it?

Maybe if you were more pleasent to people who post here, somemone besides me would post here within a week.

How long is this going to take?

No he was not on his last regeneration. Roger Delgado played the last regeneration; in the tv series he had two bodies after that. The Master being past his regeneration limit was a plot set up in The Deadly Assassin, in the 70s.

So again you are displaying your ignorance. And so again, that was no petty insult, but a simple declaration of the truth.

If you are going to keep posting nonsense, I am going to keep calling it nonsense. Check your facts before you post. Every single time you post you are making another mistake, and so I don't see any reason to be pleasant when you twin that with your insistence that your argument is on equal terms, It's not, because you don't have the facts at your disposal. I do.

Other people aren't posting because there is nothing else to talk about. it ain't to do with me, bud, and I know that every other Who fan that has posted into this situation has no problem with me and is laughing at you.

I thought you WERE reffereing to the Roger Delgado one. You weren't exactly spacific.

My point still stands you cannot compare the series to the movie since he was never a pile of goop in the series and my original point still stands.

What time will it be on?

I am hoping to have my hair cut in the morning, but now you say that it's Inferno, which I want to see, I may push back my hair cut for how ever long the episode is.

It's OK, I just found out. Bit like you did vintageSW77.

People here are useless. Useless I say!

[steps inside washing machine and makes a sandwich, filled with socks]

Oh well, I missed it. My TV wouldn't work, lol.

and this is pretty cool

seeing as im ten miniutes away

Well, one week to go!

rumours abound about John Simm playing a character with a past linked to the DR this series........hmm
sounds interesting as there needs to be a big surprise this series

theres a weakest link special on the 30th
the Radio Times special is due tommorow

and when i visit the exhibition in Manchester in 2 weeks ill post pics

Well, it's not really rumour with Simms any more-

Spoiler:
He has said in interview he is playing Mr. Saxon, and after references to that name in Second series Who, the Who Christmas special (ordering the attack on the spacecraft) and in Torchwood, that was never going to be a minor role. Rumours about a link to the past mostly come out of people suspecting it is the Master, but I don't think there is yet any substance to that.

another let down
i just wish RTD could give us what a lot of the fans want...........you know who back

i have my worries about this series, i hear that again the assistants family will feature quite heavily and do we need the Daleks back again when there are plenty of species from the past we could substitute them for
i think that the BBC and Character Options toys have missed out on a few quid there
i dont see the point of having a helmet wearing race of aliens who look like the Sontarans only to have them revealed as looking like cast offs from the Island of Dr Moreau
and now that Torchwood has been and gone and is now seen as a bunch of tossers who like to **** each other and say LOTS OF RUDE WORDS as opposed to some shadowy organization will we get a lay off from the referances?

Who knows
We know the drill..a couple of outstandiing episodes..a thrilling mid season two parter..a really crap episode and an outstanding finale
i just hope we get a run of quality episodes this series and no fillers to save money for THE BIG ONE
