Official Doctor Who Thread

That was a gripping episode!

I thought it was a wonderful episode and can't wait till saturday for the final, and John Simm is perfect.

Does anyone know where I can find online a video of the coming up trailer that was shown after last weeks episode?

I like how they tied in his "Death" in the Eric Roberts version by explaining that the Time Lords, resurrected him to fight in the time war.

That was a simple cleanup to dump all the complete nonsense that would have to have been gone through to explain his return otherwise- as riduculously advocated by a certain poster earlier in this thread.

I just read it out of the magazine interview with Russel Davies. He said they wanted to tie it in with the tv movie and as you said keep it simple for newer watchers.

I will save my full comments on this two part final until next week along with my opinion of the 3rd series. For now I will say this, looking good.

Which is the better Doctor Who....The original or the current one?

The original? Which original? We're on the Tenth Doctor so far.

I think he means classic Who as opposed to new Who.

At least, I hope so... ermm

MildPossession you can find the trailer on www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho

wow doctor who is so good

I have been a doctor who fan for many years now and have been to many doctor who conventions.

I really enjoy David Tennant playing Doctor Who, he adds a very sexy but geeky feel to the show. and Im glad that its filmed on my doorstep.

The last episode (Can you hear the drums) was filmed around Llanedeyrn. When the three of them were running away from the camera they ran into maelfa shopping center.

And that's why I don't flog a dead horse.

It's all down to the script writers.

Classic Doctor Who I grew up on. This one here, it doesn't have the same charisma as that one did.

It's far less silly, though. And I'd say Tennant makes a damn good Doctor.

He sure does!

I wonder if The Master has a completely new regeneration cycle, since the time lords resurrected him.

I think David has to be one of the best Doctors.

I'm so looking forward to Saturday's episode!

I'm still not sure whether to go into London and watch it via a giant screen in Tragfalgar Square, as Freema Agyeman and John Barrowman will be there! Woop

Writers who made their intent and style exceptionally clear.

As for a new cycle- err, well... considering he regenerated and had previously run out, one would have to say 'yes', hmm?
