She's spent the last few months raising temperatures as a call girl in her own steamy show, but now Billie Piper is going back to her roots. The lucky Doctor, played by David Tennant, will have funnygirl Catherine Tait as his main helper Donna.
Freema Agyeman's character Martha will also rejoin the fun.
But according to The Sun the Doctor saves the best until last, with Rose (Billie) returning for the season finale.
"Doctor Who is a big part of my life. I've missed it since I left and I love David Tennant," said Billie.
"With Donna, Martha and Rose assisting him, Dr Who is going to be spoilt for choice," said a show source
Are censored b*tch is back. Well that's the story writer's for you, going make the good Doc look like a plonker after what he said.
Tennant 'is leaving Doctor Who'
Catherine Tate has suggested that the next series of Doctor Who could be the last for actor David Tennant.
The comedian, speaking on Radio 2's Jonathan Ross programme, said: "I think it's maybe David's last series."The BBC refused to comment on Mr Tennant's future as the show's star.
Tate, who first appeared in the 2006 Christmas special, is to return as the doctor's assistant, Donna, for the entire run of the fourth series.
She will also be joined for several episodes by the doctor's former companion Martha Jones, played by Freema Agyeman.
When pressed on whether Tennant would return to play the timelord in special Dr Who shows in future, Tate replied: "Possibly."The comedian also confirmed that the forthcoming series would be her last.
Tate made her Doctor Who debut last year as a runaway bride who found herself transported into the Tardis as she prepared for her wedding on Christmas Eve.
The episode attracted an audience of 9.4 million when it was screened on BBC One on Christmas Day.
This year's Christmas special, starring Kylie Minogue, is due to be screened at 1850 GMT on 25 December.
Speaking to Doctor Who magazine, the pop star said appearing in the show was "like stepping back in time".
"I really felt at home being back in the world of TV," she added. "I've definitely got the acting bug again!"

So what if he dose, DT may feel it's time to move on or those story writers want him out.
Actually her line was interrupted by Ross so we don't know quite what she meant there, and tennant has also expressed an interest in carrying on. May be true, but I don;t think we'll find out for a couple of years.
Meanwhile, some very interesting speculation about a bad guy from the spin off 'The Sarah Jane Adventures' coming to the next series and exlaining both the 'Doctor-Lite' episode and a return by Rose. Speculation right now but still interesting.

Apparently Doctor who will take a break after the next series, only doing a few specials then it will return in 2010.
Rose, Donna and Martha wow 3 assistants.

To much Speculation we need hard facts. 😉 🙄
There are hard facts available.
1. The possible bad guy DID turn up in SJA and specifically said his next target was the Doctor
2. His speech patterns and activites were comparable to that of the Black Guardian
3. Set reports have implied that the Doctor-lite episode for '08 takes place in a setting where the Doctor is gone. That would fit the set-up in SJA absolutely.
So I mention it as being more than just wild rumour. But it is still speculative.
You pretty much wouldn;t see Rose together with the Doctor though- that's the point of the possible beauty of the concept. Rose is only there because the Doctor is not.
And yes, we know all about the break, as mentioned earlier in this thread.
That said, beautiful as it is, the entity in SJA worked by agreement with the person concerned (much as the Black Guardian did, so that all tracks)
But the point being, Rose wpould have to agree to a deal to kill the Doctor and stick around after 'Doomsday' for thw above idea to fully work.
(For those who do not know, in the 'Sarah Jane Adventures' this being inteferes in time altering it at a point where Sarah jane was 13 and was unable to save a friend of hers dying in an accident. he made a deal with the friend so that sher lived and Sarah Jane died instead, and the whole future world changed as a result, very ngeatively, as was the entity's plan. Whilst Sarah Jane was trapped in a limbo state before the story resolved, the being tells her to imagine a world where the Doctor never existed. The being's plan is defeated when the girl who accepted the deal changes her mind and rejects it, even though this means her own death, which is how it should have been anyway. But although that does not work out, the being itself is unaffected, and its threat against the Doctor remains)
It seems highly unlike Rose would accept such a deal displacing the Doctor.
But much of the rest of it makes sense- in SJA that being uses the term "Waking or sleeping, I will be with you" to the character he made the deal with... exactly the same as with Turlough in classic Who. And likewise the only way to defeat the Black Guardian was when Turlough rejected the deal later on.
So it does track. But it's still all just conjecture, even though there is some basis.

I hope we see Dalek Caan back again in series 4. 😛 🙄

I doubt Dalek Caan would be the main villain, Davros is a good possibility, but I am interested in this Black Guardian, could he have something to do with the master?
The Black Guardian as originally presented both in the 1978 series and 1983 Turlough trilogy was above the concerns of the Time Lords, being an entity from a higher plane of existence.
However, he owes the Doctor for twice defeating his plans in the past, and using the Master would not be above him if he set a trap for the Doctor.
It was said at the end of the 1983 stories that he would in fact return for a third time but it never happened during the remainder of the classic series.
it is plain that this Doctor is easily manipulated than past regenerations so maybe that would be used against him.
The new Master certainly got off easy and though the past series have shown a sense of strained friendship between the two, it seems the Time War has left the Doctor an emotional wreck at least when directly faced with something like the Daleks, the Master, the Time Lords, and now Rose.
