So RS is back in the specials and Tennant has to age considerably in the next year then.
Tennant will be doing the specials as the wrinkly woeful cgi Last Of The Timelords version of the Doctor then i suppose
Maybe she travelled in time with her incarnation of the doc and met 10 much like Jo Grant met Doc 2 and 1.
Maybe thatll happen in the specials
Its a good idea though having a not yet seen say Doc 21 meeting the current one.

so the Cybermen are back this week ?

No, Christmas special the things are back.

Cybermen are gonna be in the christmas special? No major villains are ever in the christmas specials :cnofused:

Maybe River having met Ten originally is something that happens off-screen. I'm sure the Doctor has adventures other than what we see ermm

And worn-down doesn't necessarily equal old or aged. Maybe he was just stressed or something.

Maybe they should have something like the 10th doctor gets caught in some time storm or something, and he stays there for 20 years or so, then goes on adventures with river, then we meet him again either as 10 in makeup to appear older or having regenerated? I don't know, sure they'll figure something out...

Mmm, hyperbole.

She didn't say he looked incredibly younger. In fact, she gauged from his looks that it was only a short time after the start of their travelling together. Yes, she was slightly off, but if he was that close, that is most definitely not "aged considerably."

Mcurrent one.

Then she wouldn't have been asking him if they had yet done thing x or y yet, because she would have known that they had not, because they happened with a later version,, and furthermore she wouldn't have expected for him to know her, as that would be the exception rather than the rule.

I am not debating the possibly continuity issues this causes with DT but you cannot actually deny this logic. She recognised him as the Doctor and thought he should recognise her. It is therefore exceptionally clear and obvious that she travelled with that particular Doctor.

i dont get why she refers to him as 10
its as if shes met 11
maybe she is in series 6 with the new Doc

So i guess we got more dippy lovey dovey stuff to come in 2010
i reckon 4 must have kept himself entertained with Leela and Romana on his travels if you get my drift given current form

you would though wouldnt you

im starting to view the Doctor and Jo Grants relationship differently too

Randy old git!

What on earth are you even talking about? River met Ten. She knew Ten. As for how this fits into the timeline - doesn't even really matter. Big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff, remember? It's time travel.

As for the new Doctor thing - I really don't think that's going to happen, to be honest. Just the very fact that if that is what's happening, it's absolutely amazing that they've managed to keep it secret. Stuff like that generally doesn't stay sealed up. I mean, look at how everyone knew about Davros. Look at how with last season, everyone knew the Master was going to return. Something like that would have leaked long ago.

... okay then. She does not talk at all as if she has met the Eleventh Doctor, she talks as if she has met the Tenth Doctor. If he had not appeared to be the Tenth Doctor, she would not have recognized him and would not have thought that they had started traveling together already. I don't think it can get simpler than that.

Tennant still very much seems that he is going to continue the role of the Doctor until something bigger comes up for him, and even then, who can say but him.

so
Tennant is here for a few series more then which will reveal all and conclude the RS story..she made him sound like a much older Doctor and i assumed with Tennant going in 2010 this meant she was talking about someone else
problem solved
i didnt care much for Kingston..shame shes coming back then in series whatever but it makes sense if Moffats taking over as he created her

i just assumed if she refers to him as "10" shed travelled an other later doctor
i just dont understand why shed call him 10 thats all as opposed to just "Doctor"

it appears we are getting Zygons in the specials

and Peach thanks for the heads up about Who being about time travel
well i never
and again this covers if Tennant regens or not on Sat

She never called him Ten or anything like that, just the Doctor. But she makes it very clear that he was the one she knew. As is incredibly obvious if you've watched the episodes.

And how do we even know that story WILL be 'concluded'?

Good lord, the assumptions.

And hey, you were kinda acting like things had to actually go in a specific logical order with this. They don't.

He is actually changing actors, into Graham Norton. I saw the form of his face at the end of last weeks episode. The video Vintage is putting up is just a big red herring.

TWO DAYS!!!!

Anyone think Davros is going to get killed by his own Daleks again?

Nah Donna is going to whoop his ass!

Game, set, match. Good post.

Surely that's not true, is it? I haven't heard anything about it.

How did he survive it the first time? I never saw Davros' second appearance.

look the way things work with new Wno everything is resolved in time.
if RS meets DT it has to happen soon for practical reasons

i dont buy this aged by experiance Ten
it will happen onscreen...theres way too many idiots debating RS and Moffat must be bringing her back come 2010
id love to hear you explain your non logical order scenario

look

They didn't destroy his body/machine, which makes it a temporary issue for Davros. Davros is already a ruined crippled husk of a being, kept perpetually alive by the life support system built into his machinery.

As the Doctor once demonstrated, Davros is exceptionally vulnerable to having that system simply turned off.

How is it difficult to grasp the non-logical order thing when River's storyline is already out of logical order, what with her already knowing Ten in Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead, yet at that point Ten hadn't met her?

Timelines are not necessarily a line. It really is as simple as that.
