Official Doctor Who Thread

Time is not made of lines. It's made of circles. That's why clocks are rouind....

😛

Did anyone watch the Graham Norton show last night? Catherine Tate was on there and I believe she did confirm the Doctor is regenerating. She also nearly let slip about Donna standing next to Davros...

there is no dispute he is regenerating but no doubt temporarily into what ?
there are some wacky ideas out there
my faveourite is Sean Pertwee in a curly wig and velvet jacket(i wish!)
and the old sci fi tv fantasy cliched good character/bad character split and The Master

and mildpossession i watched a few behind the scenes xmas clips and you had me for a minuite there myself...imagine if they were staged behind the scenes clips and he was going tommorow..itd be a very bold step
i think DT would have a better send off than what he got last week mind
and the RS debate would amount to **** all so despite the hype DT aint going anywhere yet...say what you want but after reading everybodys opinion i beleive Moffat will bring her back before Tennant leaves and marry him off with RS all onscreen
it makes sense Moffat is taking over, shes his creation but where they go from there i dont know
i didnt have repeat viewings of the episode...i saw it once
maybe ill have to read the script

l

as for the RS debate im going to sit it out ...im not keen on the possibility of her return though as i thought she was a moon faced spiral haired annoying ****

... Well I'm assuming she meant Davros. If you miss Mr Norton's show last night you can watch it here http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/page/item/b00cf70d.shtml

They didn't destroy his body/machine, which makes it a temporary issue for Davros. Davros is already a ruined crippled husk of a being, kept perpetually alive by the life support system built into his machinery.

As the Doctor once demonstrated, Davros is exceptionally vulnerable to having that system simply turned off.

I have to say, that was certainly amusing.

"Don't touch that switch!"

"Why not?"

I watched Genesis of the Daleks last night and i really enjoyed it.

How is it difficult to grasp the non-logical order thing when River's storyline is already out of logical order, what with her already knowing Ten in Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead, yet at that point Ten hadn't met her?

Timelines are not necessarily a line. It really is as simple as that.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff. 😛

So Peach is right....I guess.

I already quoted the wibbly wobbly line (as I absolutely loved that bit) 😛

Fair enough.......so do I 😛

I thought Davros had become just a head

My Graham Norton, and Red herring post was not serious...

Yes to the person who asked about the Graham Norton show, watched that one with Catherine Tate, she didn't give anything of interest away.

Just watching confidential- at the read through of the last two episodes they were reading Mickey's part. So he will be making an appearance.

I did enjoy the episode more the second time.

Noticed the Supreme Dalek has the same voice as the Emperor from the last episode of Season 1...

Perhaps when Davros died he took over and went all God...

I'm pretty sure everyone already knew Mickey is going to be in it. I mean, he's in the promo pics.

Actually if you watch destiny of the Daleks, a Dalek mentions such a supreme Dalek, and Davros laughs it off saying he is the only supreme being (Dalek wise at least) and that he's nothing compered to him.

Throughout the episode Davros calls the Red Dalek the Supreme Dalek. Supreme Dalek's are usually black though...

I posted the above group promo pic including Mickey 3 weeks ago
i thought everyone knew the " wooden " dog was coming back
not looking forward to Noel Clarke returning...hes ok playing the fool but he cant play tough and i guess hell be trying to "pull off the hard man" again
(which if hes joining Torchwood hell have to get used to..ooer missus!)

well this time tommorow everything will be answered and as per this thread will go quiet until Christmas
this series has flown but with the classic dvds every month to buy and the classic figures line in august it will as always be around for a few of us

As much as i like Tennant i wouldnt have minded a new Doc when Moffat takes over but as the woman whos name im bored of typing has to meet the doctor whos number ive grown tired of typing too sooner or later it looks like DT may end up passing the Pat Troughton " only do 3 years" limit....maybe he loves the role that much he may surpass TBs innings
theres a bit of talk about Queer As Folks Aiden Gillen taking up the Tardis in 2010 this week ...interesting choice and another name to add to the long list
Finally there was an interesting quote from RTD that he wont be bringing the Sillurians back for the specials which after him saying there would never be a Torchwood/Who crossover or a return of the master in new Who i guess this means they will be back then
what with talk of Zygons from a trusted source and the Sea Devils mention in last years finale but non appearance thus far and the lack of a sea based episode yet ............it could happen

What gave you that idea?

Usually a Dalek in charge is red, case in point the Dalek from the Dr. Who movie was red.....As i said Davros obviously had a change of heart to a supreme Dalek.

I thought id put up some of my Who Exhibition pics from Blackpool and last years Manchester exhibition

and these bizzare Who heads at the WHOshop in Blackpool

As for the River Song debate which im becoming slightly obsessed about is anyone open to the possibility that River sees the doctor as one doctor regardless of Regeneration much as the Timelords see each other hence the "younger" quote?
she isnt just seeing Tennant

End of season 4 tonight 🙁 But I am sure it'll be a great episode
