I still don't know Fate's powers exactly (despite being a JSA fan, I really don't know what he can do...he never seems to be doing much). Insert regular Juggs and you'd have a cool combo there though. Khell's right though...everyone had some telepathy or defense for it. KVD found a slight way around that with 'magical telepathy' (something I would've used myself if I had fought Scoob) but you would have had a decent shot...dealing with Juggs (when properly argued) would've been hard.

pffff!.... lol..... i've read a few fights with Loki and i don't remember once seeing him use a mental attack...... besides..... Thor's hammer can draw out the life force of any Asgardian.... you'd have been screwed

I took Profssesor X to defend against telepathy mostly.
I took Fate because he is very good in magic.
Classic Juggs would have been fine.
I picked those three because they each can help you out in the Physical, Mental, and Magical realms plus I thought I could come up with some intereseting combos with them.

Question...
In regards to this proposed street-level tourney. If we opened it up to 16 people, assuming we stayed with the same 3-character formula, that's 48 characters. Are there that many worthwhile street-level characters? I sure as heck can't think of that many...the last few to pick in the 3rd round of drafting would be getting most likely trash characters, or whoever they could think of because so many would be taken.
Bumping it down to 8 people seems unfortunate, since more people would be cool, and the other option is only having two characters (either on a team or as an amalgam, depending on how it's decided) and it's a lot harder to make a cool combo with only 2.
Anyway, maybe there's more than I know of...but I was just wondering if anyone else has thought about this potential problem.

Alright, I guess 48 isn't too many to have to think of (I managed to list around 35 myself before looking at Khell's list). It'll make surprises in the draft that much more important, or else someone will just end up with Jubilee...hahaha.

P.S. I liked the extra strategy of mind/body/etc. with our amalgams for this tourney...If it's to be amalgam, I would vote for that, or just seperate teams of three street-level people I think would be good too.
P.P.S. Count me in obviously...though I don't anything's official yet. We'll probably have to sign up on a specific thread later on.
P.P.P.S. Nice list Khell, but Rhino is something like Class 80. Alone he's beatable, but paired correctly he might be unstoppable. I think we should have something like a Class 40 limit for each character (or something similar)...but if you manage to meld two peoples' powers to increase it beyond that, that's perfectly acceptable.
