In the last tournament, you got all of the powers of people. I'm saying you could take specific powers from people, like Spiderman's spider sense, instead of getting that plus webs, strength, and agility. You'd take them from more people though.
Ohhhhh.. I see what your saying.

Hey, while everyone else has been power meshing and strategizing, you've just been having Strange beat the crap out of people... I think the single-attribute thing would downplay the guys with millions of different powers. Anyone have thoughts on the actual idea, other than the Doc Strange crack?
I played it safe by making one core character, and only using my other characters to amplify said core character. Nothing at all wrong with that is there?
Yeah, I've got no problem with what LP did.
Anyway, I see what you're saying Dizzle, but I think just having 1 power from each guy would be too weird and confusing. With street-level picks, our guys won't be hideously powerful anyway, so it'll be more manageable stuff than the extreme powers we have right now in this tourney.
And that's cool having everyone's experience. But if all three are in control, there might be a battle for mental power. Like if Loki and Thor were picked and were both in the same mind, they'd never get along and work well together. I think we should have to make sure that our "minds" would mesh in the amalgam, and if they don't it can be used against the person as a strategy.
Also, I still think 1 body should mean only that body's powers. Like if you had Spider-Man and Venom, you'd have to choose and only have one of their strengths, speeds, etc. rather than adding them on. You could get Peter's Spider-sense either way, but not physical attributes of both. If that were the case, 3 class 50's and someone has a guy who can lift 150 tons.

Like what? Because too many extra powers and she might be too tough. If you can honestly say that a random street-level like Spider-Man, Iron Fist, Beast, Doc Ock, Lady Deathstrike, etc. would win or stalemate Sage then she's fine...otherwise it might be a suspect pick. I think a Class 40-50 limit is set too, so I don't know if that applies to her.
Personally, I like all this tourney talk, but I'm excited to this the last two matches in this current tourney. Scoob/LP should be a dogfight, and that bastard Majestic is waiting for them in the finals (though I hear he has some help from someone named Black Bolt and Maelstrom).

I looked into Sage SF. The site I found said she used to have some telepathic powers but got rid of them (?)...I didn't see too much that was objectionable, but I don't know anything about her other than the bio I read so there might be more than I know.
It mentioned being able to initiate evolution within mutants. Presumably that would make them more powerful or better, and it doesn't mention "de-evolution" so I doubt you could use that power to much advantage, but depending on exactly what she can do with this it might be a slight problem. Otherwise, all it said was that she could assimilate information really fast. That doesn't seem any different to me than people like Slade or Midnighter.
If I'm missing something, let me know...she seems ok to me, but like I said I don't much about her, so I could be wrong.
