Similar to what you said. Travelling speed is different from fighting speed. SS has not been shown to fight at high speeds at all in over 30 years. I can't see that as an advantage.

I did say there was no indication of Superman fighting at lightspeed (exact same thing can be said about Surfer as well), but I never ruled out the speedblitz. Superman can still use that on Thor and Surfer can still use it on Marvel.

I'm just hoping for a good fight. Borg should own them considering that he stood up to parallax impressively under his own power. Now he's boosted by 4 or 5 GL rings and it's a standard Hal and Guy.
Guy was owned by the Eradicator. Borg owns the Eradicator.
I'm sure Borg will finally lose in some ridiculoulsy cheesy (isn't it always?) way.

In issue #2(which is the first scan showed) they were stalemated. Enchantress wasnt boosting Cap yet.
You see her start the boost on the very last page of issue#2(In which they were stalemated).
The next 3 scans shown were from issue#3. At that time Enchantress is just starting to boost and Spectre is dominating Cap.
A few pages into boosting, Blue Devil asks her if she can get power from others. She said she can try. Once she started getting power from other magical beings Cap owned Spectre, until Enchantress went crazy.
Once again only the FIRST scan is Cap under his own power. They were stalemated. The other 3 scans are while Cap is being boosted. The boost just only allowed Cap to stay alive. It didnt boost him like he was pages later.

He's shown travel speed, not battle speed. I don't think SS is as fast as people make him out to be. He enters hyperspace after hitting light speed. His light speed precision example wasn't a good one as he missed snatching the IG of Thanos hand.
Lobo flies nakedly through space on his hog at light speeds easily. I'm not going to claim that he fights at light speed however.

Actually having more rings doesnt mean more power. They wearer may think he/she is more powerful, but its not the rings. Its the state of mind.
True Guy has been owned, but lately(since Rebirth), hes seemed better.🙂
I hope Borg doesnt loose on some BS. As long as its a defeat i can deal with. They just better not kill him.

I dont think Cap can be effected via matter manipulation either. I dont think the Gods would allow it. Secondly, Surfer cant changes Caps lightning. Its magical in property and that > Surfers cosmic powers/blasts.

Borg is unkillable and basically indestructable. Similar to the uber Iceman floating (pun intended) around these boards.
I agree about the rings...but they sure look purty on his mechanical hand. 😆
