Silver Surfer vs Cyborg Supes

Started by Cosmic Cube16 pages

In essence, the Cyborg says, "I can master machinery, so I used part of this machine which contains my conciousness." If the Source wall wasn't a machine, why would he even mention his mastery over machinery?

You are implying that the Cyborg can control anything. You haven't proved he can control anything but machinery.

I see cyborg controlling an unknown substance which isnt metal.

Read the panels again... What do they say?

"No I can master only this small piece of rubble I comandeered for myself"

"As I can master Machinery, so did I learn to master the small portion which held my conscious"

Where does it say that the wall is a machine, or metal?

Surfer isn't a machine. He ain't metal. He ain't going to be controlled. Since when can Cyborg Superman control a living being that is neither metal nor machine?

As for controlling the Source Wall, what did he do with it?

Parallax ripped into him. Controlling? Well, I didn't see him controlling Parallax. Later, Parallax fights the Sun-Eater and sacrificies himself.

When does he fight the Sun Eater 😄 I don't think you read it 😄 🙄

Final Night. Sacrificed himself to make amens for his past acts.

No, it says

He did not say the wall was a machine. Look at it..read it again, and tell me what machine you see there? He's implying that he has learned to use his "prison" in the same way as he can manipulate machinery.

Feel free to read through the whole thread and find where I said Cyborg can control anything.

Who said anything about Parallax? Why are you bringing him up. He is leagues above the surfer.

He used the wall to attack superman. He attempted to absorb him (which some people claim surfer can do the supes..there goes that theory)

Everyone knows what holds Cyborg Superman's consciousness. Clearly, the Source Wall is some sort of machinery. A better question is how did Cyborg become part of the Source Wall?

There goes what theory?

Your surfer drains Supes theory (way back in the Energy supes vs SS forum)

As for your other question, Cyborg can seemingly teleport himself unlimited distances.
Once again..Surfer.. shiny metallic like material.
He will lose. Power cosmic blasts arent going to save him.
His board was destroyed by Cable. There goes the indestructible theory.
Cyborg is strong enough to put the hurt on radd. He can also live in the sun, and has also survived black holes.

Its nice to see someone use the word theory 😄

Um, yeah okay. He can control part of the Source Wall to attack Superman, but he can't control a weak Parallax. 🙄

As for "leagues" above Surfer, this Parallax was hardly above Surfer. He had to sacrifice himself to destroy the Sun Eater. If Cyborg Superman couldn't control him, he ain't controlling Surfer.

And he can't control Parallax or Surfer...because he's not able to. So he did that to the Source Wall, what evidence is there that he's done it to another being, with the exception of cyborgs?

I thought he beat the Sun-Eater and lived afterwards.

Didnt the sacrifice come from re-igniting the Sun? After defeating the Sun-Eater?

Correct me if im wrong. I could be though.

No your right as usual Jrod

in "the trial of superman" the cyborg tapped into the planet's crust and made a giant weapon out of it and was blasting the shit outta him so i think that counts as non metallic(though he still was in metallic form to dirstribute the energy) meh..who knows.

on another note though, seeing as how the source wall is the edge of space, and is an indescribably large object that have been imprisoning beings for eons who have tried to breach it. from all my readings featuring it , I never pegged it to be a machine, its more like giant rocks, giant beings, and primordial cosmic energy, so the fact that the cyborg can claim a moon sized piece of it for himself, i do beleive that is quite a powerful feat.

which leads me back to my original stance that he is not somebody to mess with. i have a feeling that he might pull it off and even if he cant its gonna be the Surfer's fight of his life. its not gonna be like when he had Morg at his knees and lecturing about mercy. the cyborg would pout him thru the wringer

Lets not forget he creates his bio half also from nothing with kryptonian dna intact. I believe he is the only human so far able to do that. All the other supes clones are far more imperfect or not really supes clones. Is DNA a machine or metal?

even though artists renditions have changed over the years the sentiment remains the same....giant imprisoned beings...as you can see there are no machines present

the things is the source wall correlates with the Oan legend that no one is allowed to see the begining of time or learn the secrets of the universe. if anyone read crisis on infinte earths you'll remember the giant hand with the primordial energies swirling in its palm......or most recently in the Justice League episode where chronos was trying to rewrite history 😄 supposedlyboth the wall and the hand thingy are direct pathways to the realm of the presence as oppsed to the normal channels other beings like spectre and the host of angels have to go thru to seek an audience with the presence

Lets get this question answered once and for all. Avalon mentioned Cyborg attempting to drain Superman and failing.

Can Surfer drain Superman?

So which sentient being - non cybernetic - being has he controlled? He didn't control Parallax, a weak Parallax at that.

When did I say he could control parallax, and once again, parallax is leagues above Surfer...especially fully powered up.

Parallax wanted to bring Coast city to life right, power which surfer could not dream of.

Parallax is regular organics powered up by his rings. Surfer is a shiny metallic type material..why is this so hard to understand? His body should be controllable by Cyborg and vulnerable to it.

Flawed logic is very hard to understand. Basically, you're saying that the Cyborg should be able to control anything that's shiny.
